This is a lovely park with some wonderful views of Paris from the top of its hills. Unfortunately, as it was built on the remains of a gypsum quarrie then covered in concrete, there has been a lot of erosion and large parts of the park and its features are closed whilst they are stabilized and repaired. Still lovely to wander through the open paths.

A delightful park with varied topography and many beautiful views. It also has two cafés and a canteen down by the lake.

Unfortunately, the island and bridges to it are closed due to instability of the underlying rock, which contains gypsum.

Best park in Paris! It’s the perfect place to bring your dog, have a picnic, go for a run, and so much more. Being in Buttes-Chaumont feels like immersing yourself in nature, whilst being in the middle of a large city.

Hands down best park I ever visited. The view is amazing, the parc is clean, people are friendly and lots of places for a picnic or just relax. Would visit again!
