My wife and I had the most unforgettable experience at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the utmost warmth and hospitality. The staff was exceptionally attentive, making us feel truly special throughout our stay. The hotel itself is a stunning blend of history and luxury, with beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower from our room.

The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, offering every comfort imaginable. We were especially impressed by the personalized service, with thoughtful touches that made our stay even more memorable. The dining experience was exceptional, with world-class cuisine at every turn. We enjoyed both the Michelin-starred restaurant and the more casual offerings, each surpassing expectations.

The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Paris, offering a tranquil retreat while still being just a short walk from major attractions. It truly felt like a sanctuary in the heart of the city.

We stayed here in 2011 for our honeymoon and it was great. Coming back 13 years later with 3 kids, it's not.

We booked two connecting Eiffel Tower suites. The rooms are fine.

The problems and issues however, were many:

- Twice we had the Do Not Disturb sign on (our son has day naps) and staff came right in. On one occasion they burst in to take away the in room dining cart. The problem? We didn't order food.

- They locked our safe without asking us and we had to call them to unlock it.

- The coffee pods, cups etc were not replaced during our entire 6 night stay.

- Housekeeping came but didn't remove the used glasses, ice bucket, etc. They simply collected them into a corner and left them.

- The lifeguard at the pool restricted my daughters to a tiny corner of the pool because "members" were doing laps. My daughters have been swimming since they were 6 months old so her condescending tone was just plain rude.

- The restaurant's food quality is below average. As is the room service. It is also way overpriced.

- Housekeeping took a half bottle of champagne (STILL on ice) away and threw it out. When we called to ask why, they brought my wife a cheap bottle of champagne as a replacement.

Overall, I would say avoid this hotel. The service is maybe 2 stars at best. Amazingly beautiful hotel but that’s it. And we stay at all of the worlds best hotels 6-8 times per year.

I'm disappointed in our experience and will stay at the Four Seasons next time we are in Paris. Not worth anywhere near the $12,000 AUD per night we paid for 7 nights (about 55.000€).

Shangri-La Paris truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel's elegance, top-notch service, and unbeatable views of the Eiffel Tower make it one of the best luxury stays in Paris. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and offer a perfect blend of classic Parisian charm and modern comfort.

The staff was incredibly attentive and ensured that every detail of our stay was perfect. The food at the hotel's restaurant was exquisite, and the breakfast with a view was a highlight of our trip.

Though the stay is on the expensive side, it is absolutely worth it for a special occasion. If you're looking for an unforgettable luxury experience in Paris, I highly recommend Shangri-La!

My husband and I hosted our wedding in the historic salons of this stunning hotel. From the initial planning stages until the end of our event, the team, food/drink, venue and experience was exceptional. Every aspect was executed flawlessly—very elegant and meticulous. Thank you for giving my husband and I and all of our guests the most magical evening. I wish we could relive it all again. Highly recommend Shangri-La!
