I'm in two minds about this place. On the one hand, the food is simple, unpretentious and quite local. On the other hand, prices seem to be on the higher side, and the staff is rude.

Nice is a lovely place and unlike other parts of france, we found the people quite nice and accommodating. This particular restuarant seems to be fully booked often so they don't care about being nice to non-locals, I suppose?

We came in for a bitw after dinner, we were 3 people and ordered 3 starters and 1 main, all to share. We were after a dinner and wasn't particularly hungry. The waiter kept pushing us to order more dishes. The menu was in french only (which is fine), but then we are pretty certain errors were made in the final bill.

Personally we wouldn't return here.

First time trying traditional french dishes and it went well! I love the rabbit and sage, new flavours to me and it was delicious! I love the lamb in veges baked, the squid and soup was so fresh tastes just like the ocean! Dessert was the best ive ever had! I have dreams of eating the strawberry tart ever since i left Nice! Lavender cream brûlée tasted like i was rolling in a lavender field.
Thank you to all the chefs who made my food, it was such a splendid journey

I had really high expectations but it was overall not a pleasant dining experience. The staff were very friendly, but the place is very crowded and the food is too salty to taste the flavor, everything tased very bland…I’ve ordered a Ratatouille and beef stew, both dishes were pretty salty even with bread…and the waiting time between the two courses were very long reaching 40 mins, I felt kind of full when the second course arrived…meantime, an English menu would be appreciated…

The food was great, one of the best in Nice. The atmoshpere was very French and local. We loved it. However wine glasses were a little smelly (dishwasher smell) , and wine was not as cold as I would like.  Also the cutlery brought with the desert was smelling eggs. But overall I really recommend this restaurant, definetely will visit again.

We got a table at 9.15p for dinner. Restaurant was packed.

Service was pretty bad (slow) in that we thought they were overloaded-- they should consider hiring an extra server. We waited a little over 10min for someone to take our order, and waited another 40min for our starters to arrive because apparently they had forgotten to send our order to the kitchen. We began eating around 10.10pm already 💀  Servers did apologize for the delay, and offered us free dessert and limoncello (politely declined the drink)

Food was excellent: that much I can stand by. Loved everything we ordered.

Getting the bill took another 10 minutes by the way 💀 They did offer one of our desserts free of charge though, so thank you for that.

We will definitely come back because the food was excellent, but we will most likely will get a table indoors so the servers can see us better :) Hopefully they won't be as slow next time!
