Inte långt från den turkiska Maybach Ufer-marknaden fann vi denna restaurang med en ren chans. Vi var fullständigt förvånad och glad över platsen. Det måste vara vår bästa restaurangöverraskning från 2019 (hittills). God meny och snabb, lite smutsig service (!). Ouzo på stenarna i en kanna togs till vårt bord från huset, vilket var en bra start. Den första av flera små överraskningar. Definitivt en JA! Jamas!

I kväll återvände vi till denna mysiga restaurang efter några år. De grekiska rätterna var trevliga och det röda husets vin samarbetade mycket!

Vi hade planerat att äta någon annanstans men hamnade på denna taverna, inte känner till området för bra och med lite ånger. Restaurangen var mindre än en fjärdedel på omkring 8:30 på en torsdag kväll så vi fick vårt val av bord tillsammans med menyerna och vi beställde snabbt två huvudrätter, en vegetarisk & en blandad grill från ett mycket omfattande urval tillsammans med en liter av huset rött. Inom några minuter tog vi lite gott bröd med ouzo och vatten för att tvätta det som var en mycket fin touch. Våra måltider levererades inom femton minuter beställning & var utmärkt, vackert presenteras & kokta, köttet på min tallrik saftiga & smakrika. Min son är ganska kinkig ätare men fann sin måltid helt till sin smak - han var osäker på måltiden om det fanns tillräckligt med vegetariska alternativ i en grekisk restaurang men var wowed av utbudet av mat på sin tallrik, särskilt njuter av okra.
Detta var den äta höjdpunkten i vår vecka i Berlin och vi har inget annat än beröm för maten och tjänsten, med vår underbara servitris särskilt hjälpsam under hela måltiden.

En av de bästa grekiska restauranger i stan! Om du är ett fan av medelhavsmat det är en plats att besöka. Generösa portioner lite högre prisklass men sammantaget bra valuta för pengarna. Väntetider kan vara lite långt ibland.

Fick restaurangen rekommenderad av hotellet vi bodde på nära Hermanplatz. Ganska liten och oansenlig restaurang. Mycket god Grekisk mat, speciellt köttet var strålande bra. Bra priser också. Rekommenderas varmt om man bor i detta distrikt.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is super friendly and it's a complete family run business. The food is beyond delicious and everything I've tried so far, I really really enjoyed! 
I can highly recommend the Dolmadakia (filled wine leaves) and the Sestos Meses (warm entry plate). On a saturday I would advice to get a reservation but on weekdays it's usually not too packed. 10/10 would recommend!

Greek food in Berlin is often a rather melancholy affair. Gloopy sauces, greasy meats, lifeless salads, zero atmosphere, and a distinct coldness to the service - the warmth and freshness of the Mediterranean could not possibly seem further away. This "taverna" will not whisk you away to the Greek isles by any stretch of the imagination, but it benefits hugely from low expectations, and genuinely satisfies.


 Stacking the deck in their favor, they start your table off with a free carafe of Ouzo. You really can't go wrong with free alcohol; throw in a cheap carafe of wine and everyone's cheerful by the time the food arrives. While the starters and salads don't exactly push the envelope, they're fresh and nicely presented; the vegetarian meze platter is among the neighborhood's best, and could easily be a suitable meal for two.


 The menu for main courses suffers from being too long - how many similar variations on "grilled or baked meat" can one possibly need? Despite some dishes being particularly good (including a near-perfect set of lamb chops), prices nudge you toward less exciting mixed platters. Enthusiastic carnivores will get the most out of the experience; any direction you go seems to lead to a formidable pile of meat, with decent tzatziki and some healthy stuff on the side, and your choice of some very nice and tangy Greek potatoes or some rather awful pommes frites. Inexplicably, the sharable platters arrive with a raw tomato wrapped in tinfoil as their centerpiece, which ranks among the most bizarre and unwelcome side dishes I've ever seen. However, the star here is the prices - they deliver the goods for a big appetite for well under 20 EUR/person. And don't forget, free booze!


 Both the atmosphere and service are warm, inviting, unintrusive...but nothing really special there. Three stars for good value and consistency, but with a better wine list and a more focused, confident menu this place could be a lot more than a convenient neighborhood cafeteria.

This is your neighborhood Greek place. I go there once a month with friends and have never been disappointed Sure, this is not a 5* restaurant but the food is always delicious and the fries there are outstanding. Portions are more than generous. Once you get to know the staff and vice versa it is a lot of fun. Great place for good food and to spend an evening with friends. Crowd is mostly locals and the atmosphere is relaxed.
