The most picturesque place in this part of Sardinia. Worth visiting. The problem, however, is access. You need to follow the road from the parking lot and then turn left down rocky steps towards the beach - not this beach though. Then you need to follow a very rocky and challenging path meandering between thick vegetation and rocks along multiple coves and after about 20 minutes you will reach the actual beach.

For us was the best beach we visited so far! U need to park on public parking and pay and than to go by foot all the way left until u see some small entrance to do small public beach. When u enter there there is a sign on italian something like connection road to Spiaggia delle vacche. The way to the beacht is hard but it was very interesting because we saw a lot of nice small beaches and nice view so we enjoyed. Beach was almost empty and was full of white fishes 😍🥰

Fantastic beach!

Clear water and very tiny space where to lay down. Better to arrive very early in the morning (8am to 9am)

Follow the signage for Cala Girgolu, you will have e a car park on the left. Keep then walking straight and pass the barrier. Keep walking until you find stairs leading to the beach on your left.

Once at the beach take the path on your right and do the tiny trek on the coastline until you arrive to the last beach, there you go, SPIAGGIA DELLE VACCHE !!

There is no bar or services, make sure you carry water and food!!

Beautiful beach but for me not worth it walking on that kind of pathways with a lot of bags, umbrella etc. necessary for all day... it was too crowded, the place where we sit had smell of urine.... on the way back to parking we lost our way and went to the path that was going to private villas and  tired of searching how to get out to the main street while walking  suddenly in front of us appeared a snake long about 2 meters where i started screaming fearly and there eas noone for help... and we had to continue searching the path
in all those narrow goat paths entirely covered with bushes... for me it was NO btw the parking for all day cost 12€ and everybody who parked around got parking fine around 30€

If you are in any way used to enjoying the outdoors, please discount the negative reviews left about tough terrain. The paths are simple, the rock is great and the minor expenditure in effort is well worth the gorgeous scenery, great wildlife and epic views. Had a great day; a great swim and some fun scrambling
