Excellent museum in the heart of the Red Light district.

Went on a Saturday night, the streets outside were very busy but the museum wasn't too full and no queue to get in.

It's an enlightening place, with a great free audio tour that helps give an inside perspective into the whole area from a prostitutes viewpoint. Eye opening.

It helps shine a light on the dark side of the Red Light district and the dangers that the women face daily.

Would recommend a visit.

What a surprise! Really informative and educational museum about the red light area and the prostitution industry in Amsterdam. Many visualisations of a working environment of a sex worker, an oral testimony and audio guide by a sex worker and many more gems to be discovered. Really worth a visit if you’re in Amsterdam.

A really cool experience where I learned a lot about the red light district and sex work. I didn’t buy a ticket in advance and there was no wait time I went during the weekday as well a few hours before they close
