We had a wonderful stay at this amazing place. Pretty location at the beginning of a historical village that's not too touristic.  Nice and clean superior room with private terrace and outdoor furniture. Great breakfast with fresh orange juice and local embutidos. Beautiful garden with attractive pool. BUT THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR STAY WAS THE CHARMING AND EXCEPTIONAL HOSPITALITY OF PAULA, a problemsolver par excellence. She treated and helped us in a magnificent way. A kind of treatment, full of enthousiasm and kindness, we never had before although we travel already for more than 40 years all over the world. And the hotel and the presence of Paula are the 2 main reasons we like to come back in september. Hasta luego ❤️🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

I could cry I love it here so much.
It's just the most idyllic place, ever.
Attentive staff that go above and beyond, everything was accesible for me (I didn't try in my wheelchair) but all on one level and any steps were achievable for my level of disability. What wasn't accessible the staff made it possible; buffet breakfast served to us downstairs by the delightful member of staff.
Gluten free options available (make sure you mention this when you check in / before so they can meet your requirements - they will and it's so great!).
I hope are fortunate in life to be able to return again and again and get away from the city to this absolute eden.

Really lovely hotel, the main hotel building made up of the reception, lounges and restaurant are a renovated convent building around what was an open courtyard, the courtyard has been covered over with a glass atrium and the 4 walls of the surrounding building have been replaced with glass, stunning.  There is also a Moorish garden within ancient covered terraces (cloisters?) that has rills and fountains which is very peaceful.

We stayed in a Garden view room, it was nice but slightly small and it was not well insulated for sound above but it was of a decent standard, you just probably wouldn't want to spend much time in it but there are lovely lounges to sit in in the hotel building.

The hotel has a very beautiful restaurant and all of the staff are lovely and helpful but the food on our visit was average and poor value.  The restaurant prices are VERY high for the area, the menu was limited and the food itself was just basic local fair and small portions.  I have seen many reviews here that rave about the food but I honestly cannot understand why, the food was OK and if the prices had been in line with other local restaurants that offer similar meals I would expect good reviews just for the restaurant itself, but the meal costs were about double those of nearby restaurants that provide the same standard of food and plentiful portions.

Would I stay there again, yes I would as the main hotel building and gardens are lovely, I would probably take a room upgrade and I would defiantly only eat elsewhere in the town, which is stunning in its own right

Had a very pleasant lunch. Dining room is airy and spacious, staff are pleasant and helpful and food very good, so much to recommend.
