Fantastic food and even better service. I had the “24K” menu, which is their long tasting menu and it took about 3 hours. It was worth it though as I was served one amazing dish after another, including a dish with duck breast that is the best duck I’ve ever had. I also opted for a four-glass wine pairing in which I started with sparkling, moved to white, then a red, and finally a sweet dessert wine.

A solid Michelin one star.  Great, attentive service.  (E.g., we both dropped our napkins, and they insisted on replacing.)  Modern twist on classic Catalan fare.  Generous and inexpensive wine pairing. We had the 24k menu and were stuffed.

Albert, Irene, Mariano, and Julie did a wonderful job of making my dining experience special as a solo diner. They also were able to accommodate my gluten free diet without any issues. I really enjoyed the food and hospitality! Very creative and delicious dishes.

A limited experience in every way.  Cold design in a hotel lobby sets the tone for a fairly corporate feeling restaurant.   Two tasting menu choices offer a short and longer experience that rambles through Catalonia.

Food is tasty but no real standout dishes.  Portions fairly small and even after 10 courses you feel hungry.  We ordered the large menu but when we arrived at 21:00 (early for Barcelona) we were told that it was no longer available.   The short menu was fine and honestly a better value. The €70 euro additional charge for the longer one made little sense.  Still, would have been nice to have the option.

Dishes tended to get flavor from sauces and not from ingredients.   Lobster was over sauced and cloying.  Lam B sweetbreads and caviar at end was weird and unsatisfactory.   Crab tartlet was the best and unfortunately the first dish.  Desserts just ok.

Room is ice cold with marble tables and cheap hotel chairs. The place feels like a hotel breakfast room and not a fine dining restaurant.

Wine list is short but has plenty of decent options at reasonable prices.   Service solid but spotty.  Needs some serious attention to detail.

This resulted in a somewhat cold atmosphere, which was also reflected in the table presentation. Despite the delectable food and exceptional service, the overall dining environment left something to be desired.

In conclusion, while Quirat shines brightly in terms of culinary prowess and service, a reimagining of its ambiance and presentation could transform it into a perfect dining destination. For those willing to look beyond the decor, Quirat offers an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
