Great Greek food in a cozy locale.

Went here to try their food since it was recommended and it didn't disappoint. Tried the Gyros plate for 149kr, and it's great value for the portion size and quality of the food.

When I went, I was quite packed in the restaurant (Sunday lunch time) so it might be a bit of a wait when it's busy. The restaurant is also very visible since it's a separate building near the road, so you won't have any problems finding it.

Some things that could be improved is that it was a little uncertain where you order the food, since it was quite busy and the server had to both take orders and clear tables at the same time.

This was the best gyros I’ve tried in Sweden. The environment really boosts the authentic atmosphere. It felt as if I was in Greece when I closed my eyes while having a big chunk of the pita. I’m looking forward to visit again during summer.

I will recommend this place to everyone I know.

I tried the halloumi burger which was will sized, filling. It has a lovely hunk of halloumi. I requested a good amount of spice and i got it! The sauces are great.
The fries are well seasoned
Overall would recommend.
Prices are slightly in the moderate range.

We lived a few years in Greece, so we are as reluctant to eat Greek food "abroad" as any Greeks :) This place however serves authentic and great food, a little Ellada in the suburbs of Stockholm, also allowing a bit of Greek conversaition with the kitchen :)

Sometimes the best food hides in an unremarkable place, and Pita Baren is one of these places. The chicken gyros is moist and flavorful, but not too greasy. The pita bread is soft and you can feel the pleasurable scent of wheat. The sweet potato fries are thick cut, which means the outer layer is crispy while the inside is still soft and creamy. Will come back to try more dishes.
