It’s absolutely disrespectful to sell an extremely spicy tomato soup and call it moqueca.

Unlike other stews, moqueca is never rushed - it is all about letting the ingredients come together. You’ll find good protein portion: shrimps and/or fish. The spice level of a good moqueca is balanced, doesn’t drown in chilli to cover lack of dedication and time when cooking; instead, it carries the right amount of heat, with extra pepper sauce served on the side for those who want more. And of course, it is always served with rice (on the side!!!!), pirão and farofa.

If you want to try a good and authentic Brazilian food, this is not the place.

Very nice place with fun ambience. The menu covers most of the classic latam food and the quality was good. However I missed the little extra in the flavours. Sweet service and good vibe. The margaritas were also a bit bleak so I would wish for the flavours over all to get to a higher level.

The worst restaurant I have tried, by far, in Gothenburg. The tortillas from the tacos weren’t home-made( c’mon chef, you can do it), dry and possibily outdated. The filling, no flavour at all and soaked in water, just spice to cover a really bad made taco. The sweet potatoe fries, oily and mushy.
The frozen margarita, horrible.
Avoid if possible. Didn’t even finish my plate, the staff didn’t ask, that shows how much they care. The cheff has crearly never been in latam or even Spain.

Came to this restaurant simply by faith. And my god how good experience it was. We ordered a whole bunch of different dishes, and every one of them was like a trip in the world of gastronautics. Next time we go to Gothenburg, we will absolutely visit this restaurant again.
