A lovely little corner of Hyde Park, one of the Royal Parks, is the Italian gardens. This small, formal gardens area, located at the headwaters of the serpentine, is dominated by spurting fountains within each of the formal pools set within a demarkated terrace area. Look out for the carp in some pools and each pool seems to have a coot. At one end of the gardens is a pavilion and the other gives a gorgeous view down the serpentine.  If you need a break from hectic London, then this is an ideal place to take 10/15 mins for yourself or read a book.

Beautiful place! There is a fountain with sculptures around. Good for picnics, relaxing, walking and exercises. There is a toilet in the entrance and a coffee shop too. The day that I visited, there was an ice cream mini truck inside of a super cool old car. The park is quite big, I didn't visit the whole one, but it's beautiful.
