The Japanese sushi chef was knowledgeable about sushi down to where the rice was coming from and the different grades of uni. Food tasted great and really enjoyed it until the young waiter came to start collecting my dishes and took away my chopsticks holder while I was still eating my pickled ginger. It was a good meal though. Just the service could be more polished.

The omakase was excellent.  Every dish and every nigiri were well thought of and delicious.  The service and sushi chef were also superb.  Now, this is my opinion, and I do not claim to be any great authority about this.  However, I think that a torched baracuda which has a strong bold flavor, should go after the sweet shrimp and scallop which are much milder.  That is my only suggestion which should be ignored for the reason that I don't know anything.

We like to have fancy Omakase every year on our anniversary and Akikos really lived up to the hype!  Every single dish and beverage were exquisite. We are simply giddy from the pleasure

Incredible dining experience every time. Best high quality lunch restaurant in SF, and was able to get a reservation for lunch for a Tuesday afternoon (a difficult day of the week for omakase).

Their menu, flavors, quality all of it is on point. I will surely return.

Omg this is by far the best set menu Japanese restaurant I have ever been to in the U.S. The service is phenomenal and friendly. The food is by far the best! Excellent quality fish and combination. There were items I don’t even like like sea urchin and eel but here they were great! Amazing experience and I will definitely come back.

Jag vet inte varför restaurangen fick 4. 5 stjärnor, men jag rekommenderar inte denna plats, sashimi var ok, sushi var mycket så så inklusive service, allt ser billigt ut. Jag gav 3 stjärnor.

Utmärkt mat. Se till att du bokar ett bord i förväg. Om du inte äter ensam, se till att du beställer allt som enskilda portioner. Jag hade den svarta torsken och bläckfisksalaten i går kväll och delen såg liten ut för två personer och det gjorde att jag undrade vad om vi båda har två separata portioner.

Detta är för människor som verkligen gillar sushi och uppskattar Omakase. Det finns ett gäng av dessa i staden och den här är bra eftersom den är flexibel. Vi firade min mans 40 th här när du besöker SF-bok i god tid! ! Notera Bush Street. plats är också svårt att hitta - om du ser den irländska puben skylt, du är på den. Om du vill ha en utsökt japansk lunch i centrala San Francisco finns det inget bättre ställe. Maten är utmärkt, och tjänsten är professionell och artig. Baserat på andra recensioner, bestämde sig för att prova. . . anlände tidigt, men inget bord ännu, så gick runt hörnet för att kyla puben - Irish Bank - att vänta på vår tid. Kom tillbaka, och var omedelbart sittande på sushi bar, som begärts. Alla var så trevliga, och älskar den lilla, hemliga känslan av restaurangen mot de stora företagsorterna. De har en dagligdagslista "flown in fresh from Japan", så fokuserad här. Den hjälpsamma kocken guidade oss genom våra val, plus min fru fick några av hennes favs. Det var allt FANTASTISKT och superfärskt.
