I visited The Painted Ladies on a Wednesday at 12:45 p.m., but unfortunately, I think I went at the wrong time. 🌞

The midday sun was far too bright, making it hard to enjoy the scenery or capture good photos. 📸

The trees in front of the houses also blocked much of the view, which lessened the impact of the architecture’s charm. 🌳

Before visiting, I had seen reviews with stunning photos taken during sunset, where the lighting looked softer and more magical. 🌅

Sadly, my experience didn’t live up to those expectations. I stayed for about 5–10 minutes, taking a few quick snaps and videos, and then moved on. While the Painted Ladies are iconic, my visit felt rushed and underwhelming.

This location might be better suited for photography enthusiasts who are willing to visit during the golden hour for the best lighting and ambiance. ✨

However, for casual tourists like me, it felt more like a “check it off your list” spot rather than a must-see attraction.

If you plan to visit, I’d highly recommend going during sunset for a better view and atmosphere. 🕶️

Otherwise, you might find the experience similar to mine—short and not particularly memorable.

While I appreciate the historical significance and charm of the Painted Ladies, they wouldn’t be at the top of my recommendations for San Francisco.

There are other landmarks in the city that feel more engaging and rewarding to explore. 🏙️

I decided to take a walk from where I was originally at Mission Dolores Park to The Painted Ladies and boy it was a 34mins walk just about. But there was hills to go up and down just to get to the Painted Ladies. As soon as I got there it was crazy to see how my childhood watching Full House came to life. I’ve always seen this part of the show. So nice to see it in person. There’s a park right across the painted ladies so you can see a better view of it and take photos.

This historic and gorgeous spot is best known by the famous TV sitcom "Full-House." The view is from a wonderful and peaceful park. This spot has earned its fame for good reason, I'd recommend anyone visiting the city to stop by and take in the sights, sounds, and feelings that this place invokes.

Went on a Wednesday morning and the whole park was deserted. Very calm and peaceful. The main attraction is the view where you can see the old San Francisco in the foreground and the modern new San Francisco in the background at the same time. Would be a nice place to hang out for a picnic.
