From the moment I walked through the revolving doors, I was warmly greeted by the bell staff, who kindly offered to help unload my luggage from the car and delivered it to my room after check-in. The hotel is incredibly pet-friendly, and the attention my dog received made him feel like royalty. However, it's important to note for fellow pet owners that while pets are very welcome, you are required to sign a waiver agreeing not to leave your pet unattended in the room. If you do, the penalties can range from fines to your pet being handed over to a “veterinarian.”

A small detail I found especially thoughtful was the changing elevator mats—each morning, afternoon, and evening, they’d switch them out to greet guests with “Good morning,” “Good afternoon,” and “Good evening.” It was a creative touch that added to the charm of the stay.

The room itself was cozy, quiet, and beautifully decorated. We couldn’t hear our neighbors much, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable.

The only downside was the mandatory resort fee, though the credit could be used towards food. However, when ordering room service, there were several extra charges that made it a bit disappointing. For example, we ordered a cheeseboard and two sides of ice cream, and the total came to over $70. Just something to be aware of!

Nevertheless, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family visiting from out of town. I absolutely loved my stay here!

Room was nice but all the drinks and food were ridiculously priced.  Service was great with all staff members. You can’t charge 12 for an oil packed bag of chips the size if a pack of skitltles.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. We were coming into town for a wedding, and the staff was very helpful in getting us an early check-in to our room. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping was excellent. Location is great, and the ride share wait times were always minimal. Also close walking distance to public transport. We had a great stay!

Solid 4 star hotel option. The rooms are nice and kept clean daily. The bed was very comfortable, I miss it already. The front desk was nice. I'd recommend you buy some drinks and water at the target nearby as their convenience options in the room are shockingly high priced. Room service is mid, restaurant on site is mid. Bar downstairs is great. I stayed for 10 nights comfortably and it is in walking distance to a lot of great things to do, eat, or to work in the financial district.

One of the Best hotels at this price range: the service, the service and the service. Staffs are super nice and helpful; one button anytime to get service ; clean and nice room; details and details. I know it sounds ridiculous cause this should be what normal hotels at this level should do anyway. But no, not in San Francisco. W hotel staffs really go beyond normal “San Francisco “ standard which is no service at all: no water, no instance service, no one helps you pick up luggages, no room service, no mini bar, etc. w hotel on the other hand has all of it. It may not have the biggest rooms but it for sure matches my experience from the same hotel franchises from Bangkok and Tokyo. It is wayyyy better than the other Marriott in the city (Marriott Marquis). I have a very comfortable stay with great service around me. I will come back to stay again. Yes, I don’t want to go pay for four seasons or ritz to get basic services. I can get it here from W hotel at San Francisco!
