The location is great... full of action, colour, and people, if you have light sensitivity, avoid the area! There is plenty of food, shops, and playing arcades too and large walking only streets, though this is after dark, I'm not sure if it's the same in daylight.

It was cool seeing the Japanese version of Godzilla but after you go up the elevator, you cannot go outside to get a closer look. For some reason, they closed this part off to everyone. On that floor, you can see old movie posters of the Japanese Godzilla. They have some models and a small selection of souvenirs. It would be cheaper if you got Godzilla souvenirs at nearby Don Quijote stores

Tokyo's Godzilla Head is well worth taking the time to see. It is so iconic, and particularly amazing to view when it's all lit up at night. The surrounding bars and red light district are also a novel experience to walk though but keep your wits about you to avoid getting ripped off. The only thing that really detracts from this area are the excessively persistent and rude Nigerian touts/promoters/scammers. They actively target tourists and should be avoided at all costs.

A great landmark in the heart of Shinjuku. From the atmosphere around it to the sight of the huge kaiju. One of the best photo ops in Japan. Went to the hotel lounge after and got the Godzilla cafe. That was the cherry on top.
