Absolutely delightful culinary experience! All the dishes were a celebration of Korean food to the highest level. Excellent staff, and no other restaurant in Seoul could match the views from the corner room of Onjium.

This place deserves six stars.  I preferred it over mingles.  The service, attention to detail was so much better. I loved the pottery. I would recommend coming here instead of mingles.  It deserves a higher rating.  I have been to many top 50 restaurants in the world and this was right up there.

Delicious take on traditional royal Josen cuisine in this research institute! Flavors were very refined and refreshing.
The vibe and view was amazing. Be sure to take the earlier dining time to not be rushed. Onjium has a nice wine list too!

The food was aesthetically pleasing as expected however we did not find that it tasted great. We are tourists so maybe we don’t understand the Korean culture enough. There wasn’t one dish prepared that I liked better than the majority Korean food we have tried at other restaurants. I was expecting more flavor based on what we have tried in the last week being in Seoul.
We had to repeatedly ask the wait staff to fill up our ice water. Although the majority of dish ingredients could be explained in English, we were disappointed that all the details were not explained for such a high end restaurant. We have other recommendations for friends traveling to Seoul when it comes to food - especially for the price.

Fantastic dining experience. As foreign tourists, we were able to experience authentic hansik flavours with a modern twist. The staffs were really fluent with their English and explained each dish to small details. The dishes were well balanced and every element was well thought through. I wish to come back another time as they change their menu periodically.
