Having dinner with friends. The kitchen is perfect - we did a set with seafood - it was a proper combination one by one including the wine. The table location was not really comfortable, and also a bit cool inside. Reservation is required.

We went as a group and went for the 5 course sharing menu... There was so much delicious and beautiful food!! It was truly amazing. Would give 5 stars if the restaurant wasn't as hot as a sauna due to limited fans/aircon on a very hot day.

What a lovely experience the food was unbelievable and service was super welcoming!!! Also the atmosphere was so warm and comfortable I could have stayed all night.
I loved the opportunity to order a pre set menu or individual menus as I am open to trying new things !! The food did not disappoint my tastebuds were in heaven!! I got to try 6 different items and they all were amazing!!

Imagine going to the Van Gogh museum, getting a hankering for Ramen, looking up a nearby restaurant and landing on a Michelin star restaurant named Umami.

Imagine the sheer shock of realizing, upon your arrival, that the ambience and decor are par none and the aromas are on point, with the price point being even MORE on point.

We weren't very large party, so a lot of folks ordered a LOT of different things, but for myself and my husband, we ordered the gyoza, the shrimp buns, I ordered the seafood ramen, he ordered the salmon hot stone rice dish. Even my 7 month old appreciated the lobster broth in the ramen, and the drinks were absolutely amazing as well.

The kitchen was open and we could look inside and it was super clean and orderly (albeit chaotic, which I loved!) and the service was excellent as well. This is NOT a place to miss, when you're in Amsterdam!
