Nestled in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam at Albert Cuypstraat 75, this McDonald's location offers a uniquely Dutch twist on the classic fast-food experience. Known for its quick service and familiar menu, it provides a convenient stop for travelers seeking comfort food with a local flair. We made a quick stop at McDonald's for the Dutch-specific items, which were decent. This location was fairly busy, but the orders were done quickly. We ordered the Meatless Kroket (€4), Chili Chicken (€1.95), Fritsauce (€0.80), and McFlurry with Celeb Chocolate (€4.10). Both the kroket and chili chicken were very basic and simple burgers, which were decent. The fritsauce gave it more flavor and made it less dry. While the food was ok, we did enjoy the McFlurry which came in a box-like container. It was a nice way to end the meal.

I don't know why or how, but McDonald's is just so much better in NL (and honestly, all of Europe) than in the US. This one is particularly good, but it can get pretty busy because of its location. But, the lines always move pretty quickly and the food comes out fast. The inside has plenty of seating and from our experience, is also dog friendly, too! Overall, some of the best McDonalds available. If you're from the US, be sure to check out the chicken tenders and peanut m&m McFlurry!

Other than being slow it was a good experience 

I wanted to try the croquette sandwich unique to Holland 

It was tasty with a mustard Mayo sauce

The fries were good too

Me foodlover said the quarter pounder tastes the same as USA

It has been years since I've been to a McDonalds since in the USA they don't have any vegetarian options. So when I saw a Veggie McChicken I had to be that American and stop by a McDonalds to try one. Was worth it! Very tasty sandwich and fries were great. Food came quick and fast and the restaurant was clean. All around a great vegetarian experience!

Fast, cheap, and they are open late. I appreciate the "glocalization" of the menu to include twists on McDonald's classics to reflect the local culture and food preferences. However, I had the absolute worst experience here. After placing my order, I waited and waited, but didn't see my takeaway order. I checked with the person who took my order and she said that it's gone and I'm out of luck. Turns out, someone had prepped it as a dine-in order and it was sitting on the prep station. When I asked her to place it in a bag, she huffed and rolled her eyes. No apologies whatsoever. Grr...

I'm not sure why someone thought a Scottish restaurant in Amsterdam was a good idea. I was very disappointed in the food, which did not seem authentic. I've been to Scotland and this did not seem familiar.
