This is my second time at Enigma; the first was in 2022 and the second in 2025. I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service, delightful experience, and exquisite flavors in the tasting menu. Enigma is the kind of restaurant that could set the standard for Michelin stars. You don't need to have three Michelin stars to feel like you're in one or even better than those that already have three.

Great restaurants are about great experiences, appreciate every little detail in the service, I could see that there is a lot of training and preparation behind the scenes, everything was smooth and elegant.

Overall its a good experience, i believe all the research, efforts and trials behind every dish are just amazing and of course service is very good overall. A big BUT is that at least for me there was no backstory behind the order or at least why they choose to serve each dish and that because theres plenty of dishes and almost no time between them and the explanation of every ingredient its so fast that you barely understand.

Our visit to Enigma was disappointing and truly underwhelming to say the least.

The food was not at the standard of a Michelin restaurant. There was a lot of dishes where they use innovative techniques, but they only serve those elements and no complete dishes. You end up getting about 26 small bites, but none of these courses is worthy of a dish at a michelin star restaurant. For the price you pay it’s very expensive and the customer receives very little value for money.

The service and atmosphere of the restaurant is loud and chaotic. There is waiters and staff moving past and through the tables continuously. Forget about a romantic dinner because all the movement is really disturbing.

The food was well below par and it seems that no one has thought about the customer experience. Definitely the most disappointing Michelin experience we have had

We selected this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday.  While they did not remember this detail until the last moment we had such an incredible experience that it did not negatively impact our evening.  The ambiance is very different and worth experiencing.  The food was sublime and innovative.  The service was good but could definitely be a little bit better.  This is more than a one star Michelin experience and for us the best restaurant so far in Barcelona (better than another three star restaurant in the city).
