Have never been compelled to write a review so quickly. We had a lovely meal at The Baring. The quail was excellent, mains were fresh and creative, and the plum cake was a perfect end. The service was exceptional and extremely attentive. Can’t wait to be back to try the Sunday roast!

Love this pub. Friendly staff, great food and impressive range of local and independent beers - great to see that they go the extra mile and support local and independent. Beers from Five Points in Hackney and indie brewers Lost & Grounded and Siren pouring when I visited.

Been meaning to go to the baring for a long time and can assure you, it did not disappoint! Absolutely loved my experience here. Cosy environment and nice vibe with very friendly staff. But most importantly, the food was outright delicious! None pretentious plates but great flavours and variety of food. Highly recommend. Quail shish was 10/10 as well as the pork collar.
