We were looking for New Years celebration place and I found this one online. Pictures looked good and it seem to be very classy.
Stuff was very friendly and even though it took long time between the dishes (it was prefix) I didn’t mind it. I took the star off because we got out Champaign after midnight and that was very disappointing. Also the desert had actual mushrooms in it which is way too weird and unpleasant to eat. I love mushrooms in almost any form and any dish except for the desert!
Overall it was a nice experience and the restaurant is an old school French establishment which one can appreciate.

We visited Le Saint-Amour in Quebec City to celebrate my wife’s birthday on August 20, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The restaurant’s decor is elegant and charming, creating a perfect atmosphere for a special occasion.

The service was top-notch from start to finish. Our main waiter was attentive and professional, and the staff who brought and explained each course and cocktail were knowledgeable and added a special touch to the evening. Their detailed explanations enhanced our appreciation of the meal.

The only hiccup was that I had noted in the reservation that it was my wife’s birthday, and I was hoping for a small acknowledgment or greeting from the staff. Unfortunately, that detail seems to have been missed, and her birthday went unmentioned, which was a bit disappointing.

Despite this, Le Saint-Amour delivered an exceptional dining experience, and I would still highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable meal in Quebec City.

Simply the Best restaurant in Quebec City. Convenient location in the heart of Old Town. Perfect place for any special occasion birthday or anniversary date.
The 7 course French tasting menu is superb and offers the best of local meats and fruits. The preparation is exquisite and so delicious. Small portions are just right. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The main dining room is beautifully decorated like Belle Epoque Paris. With wine, tax (15% in Canada ! ) and tip we spent $535 Canadian which is only about $387 US dollars total for 2 people. Well worth it for such a memorable dinner.

Best restaurant in Quebec hands down. Not going to lie, wish there were a bit more accommodating for my requests (spouses's birthday)  especially since I made a reservation ahead of time, but I'm glad I stayed for my dinner. Not a single complaint for any of the dishes we ordered. Everything was perfect. Thank you for an exceptional dinner.

Since I was alone they sat me in another room, with no one, no music, I could hear the noice from the dishwasher, full of light, zero atmosphere and next to the kitchen, as you can see in the video. In the room with all other customers there were several tables available.
I felt like I was an employee eating after a shift.
I had a dessert and the taste was not good, the chocolate was too bitter and the ice cream tasted weird.
