The most incredible meal! Be aware the Caipiriñha is STRONG but so delicious.

Never had so well cooked chicken hearts, so good! The steak was perfect and great value. The chef really has his heart in this business and it really shows.
One of a kind experience from very experienced chef.

You need to try the gnocchi. It is the best thing on this planet. The gnocchi is super soft and melt in your mouth and has a delicious lemon cream sauce with hazelnuts.

The restaurant has an excellent vibe and service was very good and attentive. The chef and owner came out to greet us. The service staff is excellent.

There’s a great selection of cocktails and wine list.

Check this neighborhood restaurant out. Highly recommended!

A wonderful night celebrating a friend's belated birthday! We were greeted with the best hospitality from the moment we we walked in. Owners Fabio (chef) & Tiffany were so personable and their passion was infectious. Their small team was an extension of this and were equally great! Here the owners have carefully curated a beautiful menu and story that exudes depth and devotion. The quality dishes were fresh, vibrant and delectable. We "trusted the chef" and opted to also add a special menu item - smoked scallops which did not disappoint! & don't get me started on Picanha. Wow! Cocktails were 11/10. The piña colada a fan favourite of the night. If you get a chance to visit I'd say run don't walk!

This was one of the most memorable dining / set menu experiences my family and I have had in NZ, in years! The owners Tiffany and chef Fabio were incredibly hands on throughout the experience, friendly and clearly very knowledgeable about South American cuisine.  The lamb rib tacos were a highlight, along with the steak, hazelnut gnocchi and the passion fruit mousse. 10/10!! Would love to visit here again.

I’m from Boston, MA USA and I wanted to try and take my kiwi boyfriend somewhere he hadn’t been before for his birthday. After weeks of researching I landed on making a reservation at Tempero and it did not disappoint, it exceeded expectations. The photos my boyfriend took do not do the food justice at all. We started with cocktails, I got the Pisco Punch and he got the chili margarita. The pisco punch was sweet yet refreshing and his chili margarita was perfectly spicy. For his second one he asked for it extra spicy so they can definitely customize the spice level, which is great. We knew we wanted the cheese bread and the Picanha (steak) but other than that we went with house recommendations and wow did they deliver. The cheese bread with the homemade chili oil was incredible. The crab gratin was creamy and full of flavor. The tuna tiradito was UNREAL- so light and fresh but packed with complimentary flavors and textures from the chickpeas, lime and almonds. The steak was one of the best I’ve had in my life cooked to medium rare with an amazing char and served with breadcrumbs, rice and pico de gallo to build every perfect bite. We ended our insane meal with a churro which was perfectly crispy with salty caramel and an amazing chocolate sauce. The service was outstanding, we felt like we were dining in someone’s kitchen with how welcoming and excited the staff was about their menu. I could not say enough good things about Tempero. We will be back with lots of friends! This is a must try restaurant in Auckland.
