The food was good, the service was exceptional. Sergio especially made sure we were well taken care of from the start till the end. We were given complimentary tea, and baklava after our delicious meal. Sergio has a warm personality that makes everyone comfortable and happy. Always cheerful and attentive to details. An excellent service provider. Look for Sergio. He’s an asset to the place.

Amazing restaurant. Great views of the mosque while you eat. The lamb chops meal was the best I've had this whole trip.  My kid loved it too. We got a free appetizer and baklava too.

Came to try this terrace rooftop restaurant without much expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised with the food!

Enjoyed the complimentary soft pita bread with butter and olives (which I didn’t think I’d like cos I’m usually not a fan of whole olives), they went so well with the pita bread and I couldn’t stop.

Loved my curry chicken with rice which was recommended by our super friendly server Sergaro. Was so glad that the gravy and the rice are the type that I like so much. Sergaro was very helpful in other aspects as well, had a really great chat with him.

Overall, recommend to come here for a yummy lunch with great view of the strait!

We consider ourselves very big food enthusiasts (foodies) and as such we put a lot of effort into researching restaurants, trying out different ones for each meal and scoping out unique dining experiences. We never eat at the same place twice as we would prefer to try as many places as we can. We came across this place upon our arrival in Istanbul and words cannot do it justice of how special of an evening it was. Mauro and his team are AMAZING. Top restaurant hands down. Their genuine kindness, outstanding service and the incredible view made this our favorite by far. We couldn't stop thinking about it and so we returned again on our last night. We even ordered the same meals! We will forever cherish our time in Istanbul and the meals at Ararat. Do NOT miss trying their desserts. You will dream of them for the rest of your life they are heavenly ♥️

Really enjoyed lunch on the terrace here. Great views of the blue mosque and the sea. The kebab was great along with cold stewed tomatoes and eggplant. Mauro's service was warm and welcoming! A little pricey but in a tourist area so to be expected. Definitely worth a visit .
