We ordered and ate at Nicholas.   Fresh 東星班 coral trout was delicious.  Abalone stir fry and steam both good.  Special Lobster E noodle was tasty.  Grill jumbo shrimp Soso.

I enjoyed wandering through the market, watching the fishmongers expertly fillet and prepare the seafood, and soaking up the energetic atmosphere. We bought some freshly cooked prawns and calamari to enjoy by the harbor, and they were absolutely delicious.

Don’t let the fact the fish market is being re-built next door to the current site don’t let that put you off going there. There’s always an eye-popping array of beautiful fresh seafood, at really reasonable prices.

Light rail L1 will get you there in 15 mins from Central.

Unless you’re after a quick snack I’d say it is best to buy and cook it at home - the restaurants there can be crowded and if you’re eating outside, beware the seagulls because they work in teams to distract people and steal their food.
