From start to finish, everything was perfect!

Reserve a table way in advance, seats were only available at the bar a few weeks before our planned date. Though, you can eat comfortably at the bar as well. The food was great, many of the dishes are traditional Hungarian dishes, unlike the drinks which are quite unique. I would recommend eating dishes with meat, rather than the vegetarian options.

We booked this restaurante because of the reviews and also given the Michelin star
Unfortunately it did not meet the expectations.
The atmosphere was nice but that’s the only good thing about it. And still it could get better with just a bit more lighting. We were at a corner table and with only one small candle.
We tried the five course menu, we got there at 9 and only left already past 11.
We ordered two different lemonades and it had no flavor whatsoever
The waiting time between dishes was boringly long, the staff wasn’t much friendly and, what was the most disappointing point for me, was the food
The ingredients were very fresh indeed but that’s about it. The flavor was very sour in almost meal and we really didn’t like the sauces. The only meal we liked was the goulash. But one in five is not great.
Was expecting a lot better from a place like this.

Our evening in Tati all began so well. Yesterday morning in person, I booked a table for 9.30pm. I was warned that the kitchen would be closing at 10pm and not to be late, I asked if the time would be an issue and said we could come at an earlier time but was assured that there would not be an issue. Our first 2 courses were absolutely delicious as was our bottle of wine, and the service was very attentive. Upon requesting the dessert menu at approximately 10.20, we were informed we could not have any as the kitchen was closed. Nothing was offered. We then requested the bill multiple times which took over 30 minutes for us to receive. During this time we saw the tables on either side of us be delivered, their main courses on one side and desserts on the other. The kitchen was in fact not closed, and the restaurant does not close until 1am. Considering the price and reputation of this establishment, I believe it is fair to say we expected to be served a full three courses. This previously unexplained gap in the service they provide, significantly devalued our experience there.
I can only warn if you find yourself in the same situation at Tati, and in search for something sweet. Just 5 minutes around the corner is a beautiful chimney cake shop open until midnight. With lovely staff and a great quality of production, all made fresh and in front of you. It may not be farm to table, but at least they delivered.

The beer was good.
And unfortunately that is the only good thing we can say about our experience.

The service was very slow, the food took a lot of time to come in after we ordered. We asked to taste some wine, it was good, but the waiter never came back to ask us even how the wine was or take the order.

We came in at around 19:30 for dinner and chose to opt in to the tasting menu. It took forever for the food to come in. We spent over two hours after asking to rush the food and left at around 22:15

The food was disappointing to the extent of just bad.
The soup and chicken just tasted like salt. Chicken was barely edible. The roasted lamb was dry. So dry we couldn't even eat it.
Back to the service, the waiters don't really care, they didn't ask us if the food is any good or why we are not eating it, they just took the full plates after we were 'finished'.

I must add that as we came in, the place looked very promising, atmosphere wise, it was clean, well designed.
But from that moment, it was just going downhill.
