One of the oldest cafes in Budapest!
Great range of pastries, breakfast and local dishes to try too!
The ambience is nice with beautiful interior and decoration.
The staffs are very nice and attentive too.
The food quality is fine but it was much better years ago. But still if you want to try some great local pastries in a nice old building you should visit this place.

Breakfast is very tasty, recommended for sure. You can try the sandwiches: the bread is very light and tasty. You can try the croissant. The desserts are also very good. The atmosphere is calm, and the interior is very beautiful with old design. Service is also good, but not top tier.

Serving food was good. But the servants (maybe different ones) dropped my jacket 3 times, and did not try to pick it up (i was sitting next to it and i picked it) than i go to toilet and come back and my jacket is on the floor again. At first i’ve rated the cafe 5/5 and service 4/5. Edited to 4/5 and 1/5.

The interior is incredible, creating a stunning and cozy atmosphere! The cakes are absolutely delicious—we tried the royal chocolate and raspberry chocolate that is sugar-free and made with dark chocolate, and they were amazing. We also enjoyed a cup of mulled wine, which was perfect for the Christmas season!

A magical place, as soon as you walk through the front doors you go back a century, and feel like royalty. The location is really convenient, it is near the yellow metro line 1. Most of the day there are a lot of people, so it is recommended to arrive at the opening, we arrived around 10 and already one hall was full. They have a large selection of cakes, we ordered: the famous chocolate pancakes, and 2 other non-classic Budapest cakes. Everything was divine, the taste and the service. We will definitely come back here again and try other cakes
