We recently got married in Schoolhouse & spent three nights in the hotel, as part of the wedding celebrations.
The Blue Room is a magnificent setting for an intimate wedding & on the day, it was decorated beautifully.
The food we ate was delicious & of a very high quality. We were also looked after tremendously by the wonderful hotel & bar staff.
Indeed, the boutique rooms are also very comfortable to sleep in & tastefully decorated.
We would highly recommend Schoolhouse to anyone who is planning a small intimate wedding. The gastro bar is also well worth a visit for a bite to eat.
Thank you Schoolhouse for everything & we look forward to visiting again soon!

"A Charming Gem in Dublin!"

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel in Dublin, and it truly exceeded all expectations! The decor has a charming, slightly old-English vibe, making it feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional – the reception team, the restaurant staff, and the bar crew were all top-notch and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect.

The hotel is situated in a lovely, peaceful area, yet it’s just a short distance from the heart of the city, making it the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. The beds were super comfortable, and we had a restful night’s sleep every time.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin – it’s a true hidden gem with wonderful service, great amenities, and a fantastic location!

Super experience staying at the Schoolhouse hotel. Room was very cozy, staff super welcoming and location is excellent and at a very reasonable price for the area. The included breakfast was basic but very good and the wider food selection and quality at the gastrobar fantastic - will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Dublin.

Fantastic Hotel, with super friendly and professional staff.
The restaurant food and bar are wonderful.
The location is great only a 10 minute walk to the city centre and close to the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus route for all the sights of the city.
We had a wonderful St Patricks weekend and were sad to leave the Schoolhouse Hotel & Gastrobar...
We can only recommend....*****

What a fantastic place! My now wife and I stayed in The Schoolhouse for two nights, the night before our Civil Ceremony (the Registry Office is only 400m away) and also the day itself. We had lunch there for 20 people (3 hours)and they all said how impressed they were with everything from start to finish. The charm of place cannot be overstated, and has to be seen to be believed. The bedrooms are so comfortable and spotless, a five star experience. The food was as amazing as expected, but what truly made everything so memorable was the attitude of all the staff and the effort they put in to make our day perfect, and it was. So a big thank you to all the team there for making our special day truly memorable ❤️
