Don’t believe everything you see on TikTok.
The experience was far from great. While the staff member was friendly, there was no proper waiting area, and I had to wait outside while the 10 people ahead of me were eating. You have the option to take away or dine in, but no one cleaned the tables. They were so busy that it took a while to be served. Although the pizza arrived quickly, we hadn’t been given any utensils or drinks beforehand. For the price, I’ve had better experiences.

I have to say two words for this place. The Best. Honestly for going to this place for over six years and watching it change over the years it has been great. I would bring some cash but they do accept card payment as well.

As I stated previously the quality has not changed and yes if you watched the iconic movie, "Eat, Pray, Love.' This is the place Julia Roberts ate at. On my last visit I noticed that they expanded the location and of course it was like a lottery system of who can eat in the "Original" place. Just to let people know the quality doesn't change just enjoy the delicious pizza get a drink if you want and then just go take a photo after of the place where the movie was filmed.

Other than that the staff is very friendly and it works via  ticket system you walk up. Tell the staff member how many are in your party and then when you get called you will either sit in one of two locations. Hope you enjoyed this place as much as I have over the years.

Now for the review, this has to be a 10/10 on that 🔥scale. I mean c'mon there is only a hand few of spots that has kept things original and customer service at the front at least for the time I have been reviewing. I will definitely come back sometime in the future.

I’m kinda disappointed. It was highly recommended with thousands of reviews. I got here around 6PM; no line; got seated right away. I placed an order and the pizza came within 5 min. Probably due to their popularity, it’s a very fast paced place. The waiter took my order right away and the pizza came very quickly. As you can see, they serves the pizza when the cheese hadn’t even melted yet… The flavor is there. But I had a better experience with Napoli pizza from another pizzeria in Naples.

Old school and authentic Naples pizza.

Food: We tried the Marita, a mix of Marinara and Margherita. It was amazing. Everything made from brick ovens, crust was just the perfect texture and the sauces and cheeses just falls off when you take it. Everything tasted fresh. Limited options but all authentic.

Service: There's separate areas for take-out and dine-in. Before noon, dine-in lines are non-existent, but after that you have to get numbers from the take-out building to get seated.

Ambiance: Place is not to fancy. Seating options on 2 floors. Simple tables and chairs.

Value: Prices were a really affordable for the quality of pizzas you get. Huge personal pizza for 6 Euros. Can be shares between 2 people.

Not overhyped! Definite try when in Naples.

A victim of their own success. They're crazy busy and struggling to meet demand and keep the quality high. This matches with their own expansion worldwide. It is now a place for tourists and not quite the same quality as it used to be.

I tried to order the Marita from the menu (the half and half) but was told that it was off and they couldn't do it. Essentially the guy was dying for me to just order a Margherita as he suggested it immediately when he came to take my order before I'd even spoke. In the end, fine.
The pizza came incredibly fast. The dough is super light and digestible, but the flavour isn't as good as other pizzerias. Tomatoes were too watery even for traditional Neapolitan. Still better than most pizza you will get outside of Italy of course!!

Nice place to visit for the history. Prices are very very good. But don't expect the best pizza ever. In my opinion they don't deserve the Michelin recommendation in the guide, and it won't be the best pizza you have in Naples. But it is still worthy of a visit to experience it.
