Really good food and nice atmosphere. Súper helpful waiters. I got the Alfredo pasta and it was great. I thought the portion would not be enough but it was actually perfect. Also their meat is really good but they don’t ask you how well you want it made (idk if this is an Italy thing) also their seafood pasta looked amazing. I recommend you get their roasted potatoes instead of fries with your meat.

We went to Il Duca a few years back, and this year, when visiting Rome, we decided to visit them again (because the food was very good last time). Well, the place was exactly the same this time in terms of atmosphere, staff, and taste—wonderful. We were served by a very friendly waitress, who, albeit not speaking English, did a very good job recommending the traditional Roman cuisine dishes. We will come back when in Rome again.

Food was not bad but not special. Ravioli was cold and we didn’t finish it. Fettuccine pasta was bit better. Service was good I think.

Thanks to my Italian friend’s recommendation, I went to the restaurant for the first time at 18.30 when it was just opened on a Wednesday and everything was so nice. The carbonara and mushroom soup was one of the best that I have had. We came back for the second time the day after and it was completely the opposite. Even though we were in line and announced ourselves to the host when we arrived, he sat 3 groups of the same size before us because they were speaking Italian. The restaurant was busy so it was understandable that it was going to take a bit of time but the waiter did not inform us anything about the time or how long. We waited 45 minutes or so before getting the food and had to ask multiple times to get the olive oil, balsamic, salt and some plates to the table to eat the bread with. When the food finally came, even though we ordered the big soup for starter to share and then pastas, fish and calamari for mains, 2 out of 5 came. My friend’s pasta was already cold by the time mine arrived 20 minutes later, and the fish another 20 minutes after. Our water bottle was empty and no-one came to ask for another one. For the 2 visits, I give this place a 3 out of 5.

Really enjoyed the food here - ordered carbonara, amatriciana and steak. All cooked really well, and it was my favourite carbonara in Rome (silky, light and creamy all at the same time!). I would go back.
