I spent the day immersed in the art of Sicilian cooking, so when the hotel recommended this restaurant, I was keen to see how the local flavours would hold up. I ordered two courses, even though I had a gut feeling that I’d struggle to finish, given my indulgent lunch. But sometimes curiosity wins over common sense.

The food was beautifully presented, a feast for the eyes as much as the stomach. It arrived promptly, but after barely making a dent in the second course, I attempted to explain to the waiter that I simply couldn’t eat anymore. His reaction, however, was unexpected—almost offended. I had to repeat myself several times before it was clear my eyes had indeed been bigger than my stomach.

Strangely, when I asked for the bill, it took four requests before I was finally able to settle up. The service left a strange aftertaste to what could have been a good Sicilian dining experience. Still, the food was undeniably well crafted, if only the service had matched the flavours on the plate.

Had a relaxing lunch here on Sunday. Great location opposite the community gardens meant we could eat in peace away from the tourist crowds. Attentive but not intrusive service, fresh food, traditional but light recipies, and great house Prosecco made for a delightful lunch. We shared a burrata with tomatoes, then had aubergine cannelloni, steak, an orange and fennel salad to die for, and some super desserts with great coffee. We left refreshed and ready to tour the ancient theatre. Great value. Recommended.

During our visit to the Public Garden of Taormina, we discovered a gem—Rosmarino. This small restaurant, situated right in front of the park, boasts a charming and inviting atmosphere, complemented by a beautiful small terrace that enhances the experience.
The staff at Rosmarino were friendly and provided excellent advice. The menu offers a variety of fresh and traditional dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone.

I don’t get the reviews on this place.
The food was not good. Felt like frozen dinner.
We ordered 2 pasta dishes and the fried see food. All tested bad. On my pasta they mentioned “truffles” flakes. There wasn’t any truffle, but other mushroom that looks similar. It felt like
tourists scam.
There where bees 🐝 flying around us and in our food during the all time.
Ohh they also served us a “complimentary” grissini at the beginning, and then charged us 7€(!) for it.
Stay away.

We booked In advance after receding a recommendation from a cab driver. We had a lovely evening from start to finish. The food was delicious, the staff were very kind and helpful with explaining the menu. The prices was so decent - we’ll defo be coming back before our trip ends.
