We came knowing we wanted to have a two-Michelin star experience, and 212 delivered! The restaurant decor and set up was intriguing, allowing us to see each part of the process. The food was innovative, prompted curiosity, and got us chatting. Certainly showcasing the skills and talents of the kitchen. The staff was exceptionally kind and lively! The wine pairing was exceptional. The cheeses allowed us to experience the Netherlands, and overall, it was a great time! From beginning to end, this was truly worth a stop and it was a fantastic dinner!

A delightful gustatory experience.

A striking energy in the room curated by the design and the immersive nature of overseeing the kitchen. Subtle brilliance of the design in where the service staff mise-en-place is tastefully and effectively stored for practical use.

The identity of the chefs is clearly shown in the food. A balance of fine & local ingredients. Classical and contemporary techniques. But for me, what stood out were the sauces. Deep flavours without overpowering. Complexity, but identifiable. Damn.

Anyways, my wife and I had a fantastic time.

We went for dinner, a cosy place in the heart of Amsterdam. Excellent service, great food (we had 2 tasting menus) and a very good wine. Cannot complain at all. Worth the price, although pretty expensive (makes sense for a 2 star restaurant). Will come back.
The oyster ice cream is something crazy good, worth to try it just for this dish.
