This is an amazing historical landmark, which is a must see. It’s breathtakingly beautiful from the outside and  inside.
We bought tickets online, which saved us waiting in line at the attraction. The wait  with tickets was about  10-15  minutes.  You can also use your tickets to go inside the cathedral. You can see two levels. The architectural details are amazing.

Visiting on a Sunday, I was shocked by the sheer number of tourists. I hadn’t bought a ticket in advance, and online options seemed limited by then. I queued for about 30 minutes at the park ticket office near the monastery, as only one person was working, and the line was long.

The exterior of the building is stunning, with free entry to the church (though there’s a line). Inside, it’s quite simple. Entry to the monastery is €12, with no queue there. The circular gallery is absolutely worth it—beautiful and photogenic!

I wish it wasn't under construction when we went, but I know it is a must to ensure people for generations can continue enjoying it. It does not take long to explore, but there is ton to see and do in the area. Overall, it was absolutely stunning and definitely suggest visiting.

The line is long however it moves relatively quickly. The Monastery is beautiful and well worth a visit. Make sure to either buy tickets from the booth or order online before standing in line! The tickets are not sold inside the Monastery the booth is outside.

Actually we ordered ours online while in line. We also saved on Belem Tower by ordering them online from the same site.

Beautiful 500 year old Monastery. Entry is 12 Euros for adults. The cloister has 2 floors and several halls to visit. Worth the visit for sure, especially on a rainy day.
