Well deserved that SIPS was voted the number one best bar in the world for 2024! AMAzing cocktails, with a little twist and spin. We kept trying as many as we possibly could within the hours our table was reserved (usually two hours). Best is to reserve ahead of time because the queue for non-reservation was quite long and the wait time elevated. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. Would definitely come back here when we visit Barcelona.

Update after visiting Drinkery House and Essencia...

There is probably an offer for everyone here.  We loved our time at Essencia. If it had its own entry, I would give it 5 stars. Drinkery House was definitely not my cup of tea.

Essencia is everything that a high end cocktail experience should be and more.  An overwhelming, in the best sense, selection of creative and tasty drinks in a wonderful atmosphere with great music.

Drinkery House offers excellent drinks but not much else for us. The Daiquiri was well made although not to my taste. No question was asked as to if I enjoyed it or why I left half.  The off menu drink that I ordered was amazing- made with skill and care.

Asking if I wanted a third drink after 60 minutes is irresponsible. Asking because tables are only given for 90 minutes feels like fast food.

Water service was amazing.

Instagram types will love the show, drinkers will prefer elsewhere.

The man on the next table who decided to aim his crotch at my wife rather than sit like a grown up spoiled the experience too.

Sips was rated the no 1 cocktail bar in the world by 50 best bars in 2024. To be honest I expected more. They have a strict reservation policy but we still had to wait to be seated. Service was quite fast and staff were friendly. Cocktails looked better than their tastes. The seats were too near and it was loud inside.

I had my doubts after reading the reviews, but my experience was really good.

Friendly and attending service and good cocktails.

Only thing I didnt like is the time limit, kind of ruining the mood when you have to argue with the bartenders and counting how many drinks you had, and what time did you enter to calculate whether you can stay more time or not.

We were lucky enough to book this place so the waiting thing was not a problem at all so that’s the #1 thing you should do. We came at 10pm and the vibes and cocktails were immaculate and the people seem to all have a passion. There was an explanation to all cocktails served. Of course, being the best cocktail bar in the world is subjective but is definitely up there!
