This is a tough one to review. It was the course I was looking forward to the most but felt disappointed by the end. First the good points. Superb condition, greens 10/10, good practice facilities even though they use old yellow rubber balls on the range.
Now for the bad, felt it was a bit like crazy golf. Unless you were hitting it arrow straight you’d either find yourself in a ravine, gully or under a load of trees. Even when you did hit what you thought was a perfect shot you’d end up with no shot. Very frustrating. Perhaps after knowing what it’s like a 2nd round would be more enjoyable but just thought some of the holes were extremely unfair.

A real test of golf for all abilities & handicaps. The Ladies get a massive advantage with a lot of the hazards taken out of the way. The course was in fabulous condition yesterday. Don't be fooled by the photos, the grass is not dead, it turns yellow in the winter. Ive played this course many times, but never tire of it. The clubhouse is lovely with very friendly staff

Las ramblas...

Great course with amazing views. It's a challenging course with little room for errors or misplaced shots as it'll punish you with cliff drop offs and fairways that lead you to the out of bounds markers so expect a high score. Lots of blind tee shots and very elevated tee shots. Having never played the course trying to navigate it and knowing where to land is half the battle even with the plaque at the tee box to guide you. But the score isn't the goal here it's to take in the beauty of the course or would be if not for the biggest downfall of this amazing course that being rushed to play quicker by the marshall when you're waiting for the landing area to clear is not the best way to play your round. The fact I have a ankle boot brace on and can't walk quickly meant nothing to him and we also had carts but the cart can't go to the ball half the time. He was adamant that a round should take 4hr30/5 for a 4 ball regardless of handicap on the course. We completed the course in 3hr15 and was constantly rushed to do so. How did we complete the course in that time... Well not having to properly do you putting routines. Not having time to properly assess your next shot. Not having the time to even think I'm the course. It was a very bad experience overall for what started out to be a good experience. In my opinion the main problem with this course is they allow way to many slots for people to play causing backlog. As we made the turn their was 8 buggies waiting to tee off. On the first tee buggies can't go up to it so you have to still walk to the tee then walk back to your buggy. You can't appreciate the views and take in the splendor with how they currently operate. I truly did consider stopping and asking for my money back because I have never had to worry about pace of play at any course before.

They also kidnapped my putter head cover (they didn't). But that's how rushed I was that I forgot to pick it up.

Stunning golf course, played three times, always in good condition. Not for the feint hearted and high handicaps may struggle. However if you want to play somewhere with beautiful scenic views, great green conditions and a nice balcony club house then this is the place for you.

This was our first visit here and we have walked off the 18th green with a massive smile on our faces. I’ve been playing over 50 years all over Europe and that was one of the most enjoyable rounds ever. It’s a thinking man’s course. Play it twice and you’ll improve your score. Take out your driver too often and you’ll be in a ravine. Prepare for the unexpected. Each hole has its own uniqueness and challenges. There are tough and long par 3’s reachable par 4’s and epic par 5’s. You know the ones where you drive your buggy 100 yards forward to see what’s there. Excellent friendly staff and I can’t recommend highly enough. Beautiful huge greens in superb condition.  Warning !!  If you slice a lot or snap hook you will lose balls. Not for the faint hearted or the gung ho merchant. Take your time and you will love it
