I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was outstanding. The location was decent, with a manageable distance to the main attractions.

However, the lack of soundproofing in the rooms was a drawback for me. As a light sleeper, I found it a bit challenging to get a good night’s rest due to noise from neighboring rooms, hallways and the street. If you’re a sound-sensitive sleeper, this might be something to consider.

Overall, a good stay with excellent service, but improved room insulation would make it perfect.

Staff are friendly and nice, second visit to this hotel. Once for anniversary and for birthday. They have arranged a sweet treat in the room and upgraded us. Unique traditional Japanese breakfast which is very special, although quality of food doesn’t seem to be same as previous and some missing items as well. Toothbrush is provided in the bathroom but one toothbrush was not in the plastic packet so it was from previous user but not replaced. Enjoyed the bath tub with TV at the same time!

I loved my stay at the hotel. The room was neatly decorated, bathroom was filled with all amenities, bed was comfortable. The hotel is located on a quiet street which is a plus for me and close to other locations a the same time.

One small thing to work on is the shower, unfortunately, water would be all over the place when showering.

This is not a 4.6 rating hotel, but the location is. For what it is, didn’t feel a price north of £450 is justified for this hotel. Arrived to the room to find nothing - no welcome message or a single water bottle. Rooms are generally on small side, and then to add insult to injury when I asked for late checkout of 1.30pm they said that would be another £100, a concept I have not seen anywhere globally for a 1.30pm checkout. Plenty other options in the area better than this one…

Positives were that it was quiet, a quiet hotel in a quiet safe location. The reception were friendly and responsive. The rooms were tiny, beds too and the corridors were narrow. It was clean. Pricey but smooth check in and check out. There was no doorman in my week long stay except for once. We pushed our own bags in the hotel during check in.
