Located on the 17th floor of the "Hotel Angelinos" is the West Restaurant.  Wonderful atmosphere!  Overlooking LA and the 405 fwy.   Our server/bartender Gabriella was friendly and attentive to our party.  The food was excellent and worth the money spent.  Compliments to the chef!  Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Good food and service with great views. Overall a nice experience having dinner at West. Tapas style small plates. Some were very small, like the asian wraps, and others were decent size like the meatballs. Service nothing fancy but friendly and prompt. Awesome views of the mountains, ocean, and most of the LA basin. Parking valet cost was validated for 2hrs or less.

The ambiance is great. Service was well. Ordered the $64 steak. Was definitely expecting a Tomahawk since it's A LA Carte, but it was a regular 16oz ribeye. Menu says 16oz. It was definitely a 12-13 oz cut I received. The steak was mediocre at best. So much fat and connective tisse. At $4 a oz, it should be a decent steak since it's $64 for the steak and demi-glace only. The manager gave me 15 percent off and apologized. Greatful for the discount and no I didn't ask for it. I was just simply telling them how disappointed I was in my meal. The server said that's a very common complaint. So I'd just not get the steak if I were you. Caesar salad dressing tasted store bought, which is fine, I guess, but for the prices being charged and the ambiance, I did expect better food. Breakfast was a complete 360. I'd eat breakfast every day. The Truffle Fries were the star from the choices I chose.

Whenever I travel from the east coast to the Los Angeles area, I have dinner at West. The food is well presented and consistent, and I like the new tapas-style options. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and extremely attentive. They give you the time and space to enjoy your meal and company, which I appreciate since I am typically there for business. Additionally, the panoramic view of the city, especially at night is absolutely beautiful! West is definitely a "go to" for me!

Loved the food and the view!

We made reservations for brunch... But didn't need them. We enjoyed great service and a beautiful morning view.

I had almond crusted French toast and Jay had a choose-your-own-ingtedients scramble. Super tasty! I loved the fresh berries and the crisp toasted almond batter on the toast.

The drip coffee was also delicious and it always  tastes better when the cream comes out of a nice pitcher doesn't it?

Next time we are in town we'll definitely check out the happy hour up here.
