We enjoyed this easy going and cozy restaurant for 'Daddy Daughter Date Night'! In a word: Awesome! We really loved the 'Prince Theme' for this month. We had the 4-course meal and were very impressed with the presentation and how delicious the food was. We'll definitely be back for more. Two thumbs up to the chefs and the staff!

Attended The Prince Experience at La Boheme! Absolutely amazing! The food, the ambiance, the music... It's a very intimate and unique experience, perfect date night. I know the theme changes quarterly, but something tells me you'll be impressed no matter the theme.

The place was a little small but very cute and comfortable. Went in for a brunch and all of the food was great, but honestly the sole reason why I actually went to the google review and write this is the memory of warm, little balls of gourgères I’ve had. Oh they’re so good! Also the staffs that serves us are the nicest people. Will definitely go back again the next time we visit DC.

EXCELLENT vibe. Great service, very friendly staff, really made me feel welcome in this gloriously crafted beautiful nook where you can tell lots of love was put into this place. We arrived super early but they were completely fine with it and already had our table set. The maitre’d sneaked in a funny as he directed us to the bar, which I LOVED. We get to the bar for a prenosh drink, where the hunky studmuffin bartender made the BEST dry whisper dirty martini ever. Once at our seats w our guests, we were waited by the chillest woman who got my meme jokes. Couldn’t ask for a better start to my birthday celebration. 🎉

Jag såg fram emot att äta på Apero with en out - of - town vän och valde IT eftersom det ligger i mitt grannskap och jag hade ringt i förväg för att bekräfta att de kunde rymma mig efter en nyligen fotoperation. Jag är för närvarande inte - vikt - lager och använder en knä sparkcykel, så tillgänglighet är viktigt. Jag fick höra att de kunde ordna sittplatser vid gatan. 

När jag kom fram fanns det tre utomhusbord — två standardbord som redan var upptagna och ett långt, högt bord som var besvärligt för någon med rörelsehjälpmedel. Ett annat matställe erbjöd till och med att byta bord, men personalen avböjde. Istället fick jag höra att mitt bord stod på altanen där inne. För att nå uteplatsen finns det trappor, som jag inte kan använda utan att gå på min skadade fot. När jag förklarade detta fick jag helt enkelt höra ”du går in”, utan att NO alternativ väg eller assistans erbjöds. 

Jag har stor sympati för människor med permanenta tillgänglighetsbehov och tycker att restauranger ska vara ärliga om sina begränsningar. Om jag hade fått veta i förväg att uteplatsen inte var tillgänglig, skulle jag ha förstått och helt enkelt valt en av de många andra restauranger i närheten. Istället lämnades jag på en obekväm plats vid långbordet, vilket inte fungerade bra med min skoter och begränsad rörlighet. 

Jag har bott i Georgetown i 15 år, reser ofta i jobbet och skriver sällan recensioner, men det var en besvikelse — särskilt som tillgänglighet bör vara en del av god gästfrihet. Jag hoppas att ledningen bättre kommer att utbilda personalen i att fullfölja löften om tillgänglighet och svara med mer empati till gäster med rörlighet.

Ägaren svarar med ett lurigt svar på min mindre än positiva recension på Yelp. Vi kände att tjänsten kunde ha varit mycket bättre... . berättade för servern vi gillade köttiga & briny ostron och var säker på att det är vad vi skulle få. Vad vi fick var inte i närheten av vad vi förväntade oss. Trevlig atmosfär på uteplatsen dock. Vi förväntade oss bättre från en Michelin rekommenderad och dyr restaurang. Ingen anledning för ägaren att svara med snarky svar... något i stil med “Jag antar att jag borde skaffa en annan karriär” och “Jag vet uppenbarligen inte vad jag gör och inte Michelin heller”. Det var verkligen onödigt eftersom jag skrev en ärlig recension. Rekommenderas inte IMHO

Efter alla måltider jag ätit runt om i världen var det här ett hemskt, hemskt nedgånget ställe med servitörer och servitriser som klär sig dåligt. Jag var mycket besviken eftersom jag såg fram emot middagen. Maten var helt ok. Mina musslor var torra. Drinkar var bra. Kaviaren presenterades i en förseglad miniglasbehållare (det var inget kreativt med tjänsten). Tabellerna var mycket obekväma (de försökerpressa så mycket fastigheter som möjligt). Jag skulle aldrig ta hit någon på en miljon år, även om de betalade mig. Detta är mer av en ONE star Michigan, snarare än Michelin restaurang.

Maten var mycket bra och hög kvalitet. Varje rätt hade utsökta smaker. Särskilt tagliatelle och nötkött var exceptionella. På den dyra sidan (särskilt för aptitretare som den lilla fromage trion, men vi visste att gå in) . Vi satt på baksidan uteplats, där trots att det var "uppvärmd", det var ganska kallt! Men stämningen där bak är säkert mer intim och mysig än inne. Servicen var genomsnittlig (både genomsnittlig vänlighet och uppmärksamhet).

Jag blev så besviken att kocken bestämde sig för att ta priset - vinnande coq au vin från menyn. Den rätten var "slicka din tallrik" god. Vem gör det? Det var den enda anledningen till att jag gjorde bokningen. Jag kommer definitivt att kontrollera menyn innan du återvänder. Kycklingpaillarden är ersättningskycklingrätten och det är verkligen inget speciellt - - bara ett fel - som heter kycklingbröst med gräddsås. Jag åt bara några tuggor av det. Kaviarservicen med chips är fortfarande en hit. Min mans anka confit var mycket bra. Brödpuddingen var inte god; mille feuille var inget speciellt.
