Everything is great except my phone in my room didn't work when I arrived and I had to call room service on my cell phone which means I had to call the hotel and get the customer service extension and ask to be connected to in room dining. The first time I got voice mail. I called back 30 minutes later and got hung up on. And called back and got another voicemail. Finally another 20 minutes later in room dining called my cell phone. I started calling around 8 but my food didn't arrive until 10. Plus there was a fireworks show so I couldn't even get to the front door of the hotel because people were blocking the entrance.

The menu even on the rooftop is pretty limited. The view and ambiance is great and the rooms are nice but for the price of a meal, the menu should be expanded.

Land and Lakes breakfast is pretty limited as well.

But the location is great. But they even charge for a bottle of water. Next time I think I'll go back to the Double Tree

We were fortunate to receive outstanding assistance from Neil and Edward, who went above and beyond to enhance our experience. They provided us with a curated list of the most popular restaurants and sightseeing activities, ensuring we didn’t miss out on the best the city had to offer. Notably, they gave us detailed information about Thanksgiving events, including the renowned parade and local dining options. When my friend and I initially thought we might be spending Thanksgiving alone in the hotel, Edward and Neil took the extra step of compiling a list of restaurants open for the holiday, ensuring we had a memorable meal.

Both Neil and Edward were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making our stay not only more convenient but also more enjoyable. Their thoughtful assistance played a key role in making our trip both easy to coordinate and truly unforgettable.

From the moment we arrived, Neil greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Not only was Neil incredibly helpful in checking us in efficiently, but he also took the time to recommend several must-see places around the city. His local knowledge was spot on, and thanks to his suggestions, we were able to explore some hidden gems that we might have missed otherwise. This hotel truly is a gem.  I stayed here during marathon weekend and the hotel never seemed packed.  Room service was exquisite and always right on time.  The room was great with a view facing the river.  The lobby bar and rooftop bar were cool, but the rooftop bar at Trump Tower across the river had equally satisfying views with way more room.  10/10 hotel and if I am back for the marathon, then I will absolutely stay here again.

We came to LondonHouse for our anniversary and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had. We upgrade the room to a premium room and it was worth every penny. The bed was so comfortable I took 2 naps in a day on it. Service was excellent and the location was so convenient. Close to the river tours and the shopping areas as well as great food options. 100% recommend.

Alla åker förstås hit för utsikten upp och ner längs Chicagofloden. Jag tog en sallad och en Miller Lite i baren och flyttade sedan upp för att ta några bilder på taket. Riktigt trevligt. Det var lite svalt ute, så vi åt i baren, men om det är möjligt, få ett bord utanför skulle vara idén. Jag vet inte vad du måste göra för att få ett bord utanför.

Vi gick till baren på taket, fantastisk utsikt och dekorerade fint där uppe. Bra foto plats. Maten var ganska begränsad på menyn och inte den bästa, men ändå värt en titt om du är i området. Lite av ett uppdrag att försöka hissa som bara passar 6 personer och köer av människor som vill ha det men saker gick ganska snabbt med tanke på.

Min man och jag bodde på London House i några dagar. Det var värt det! Deras personal var fantastisk. Mark, Allen och Ibrahim var mycket vänliga och såg till att vår vistelse var härlig. Jag skulle starkt rekommendera att bo här!

Bra läge, room service dagligen och städas till en hög standard. Massor av företagsgäster halvvägs genom vår vistelse vid vilken punkt vi kände oss ignorerade. Vi valde bed and breakfast. När du går päls frukost blev vi ombedda om "vouchers" utan att ha någon aning om vad dessa var hälsaren Laura som var härlig person och helt lättillgänglig vänligen förklarat . Kuponger är värda $ 20 per person allt du beställer över detta pris betalar du mellanskillnaden. (vilket vi inte hade några problem med. Dessa kuponger skulle ha getts till oss när vi checkade in. Jag tror att ett bättre system skulle kunna användas här eftersom överlämnandet av kuponger fick mig personligen att känna mig obekväm. Vi åt också på takterrassen bar all mat på hotellet var vällagad, väl presenterade och trevlig. Takbaren är öppen för allmänheten att njuta av utsikten. Detta var ett problem under en del av vår måltid som en ständig ström av människor packades in i litet utrymme bredvid vårt bord. Sammantaget men det var en härlig vistelse.

Edward, portvakten, var höjdpunkten på vår 39:e bröllopsdag. Hans gratulationsord, hans engagerande energi och bubbliga personlighet lämnade ett stort avtryck på våra hjärtan och stora leenden på våra läppar.

Den 6 juni 2025 var vi på bröllopsfest för min syster i London House. Vårt bord var reserverat för 3: 30 PM, och vi kom snabbt vid den tiden. Men vi tillbringade minst 15 minuter nere väntar på hissen. 

Väl på övervåningen fortsatte vi till restaurangen med våra 20 månader gamla tvillingar. Vår server var en dam som hette Lily. Jag förväntade mig att vi någon gång skulle erbjudas två barnstolar för spädbarnen och två vanliga stolar för oss, men det hände aldrig. Vi hamnade vid ett bakbord med en "Reserverad" skylt, eftersom det inte fanns några stolar tillgängliga runt det bordet. Inledningsvis trodde jag att servern skulle erbjuda oss stolar senare, men hon verkade ignorera situationen, som om det var normalt för gäster att sitta utan stolar. 

Jag bör notera att restaurangen var praktiskt taget tom, och alla andra oreserverade bord med stolar hade "Reserverade" tecken. När vi äntligen frågade Lily om stolarna verkade hon irriterad och sa att hon skulle fråga sin chef. Lily återvände med svaret: inga stolar var tillgängliga någonstans i restaurangen. Hon föreslog att vi kunde sitta vid det höga bordet (med barnen? ! ) , medan andra gäster kunde bo vid de vanliga borden. Anser ni att detta är en godtagbar lösning? Det tvivlar jag på. 

I det ögonblicket stod det klart att restaurangen ville att vi skulle lämna, eftersom de verkade missnöjda med att ge service. Min syster grät nästan, men ingen verkade bry sig om att hennes speciella dag blev förstörd. 

Strax därefter bad min man en annan server att ringa chefen. Chefen (vars namn han inte avslöjade) var också oprofessionellt. Han svarade inte på mina frågor om varför vi inte kunde ha stolar och vände sig helt enkelt om med ett argt ansikte. Istället tog han med två stolar till min man och mig, tillsammans med två små barnstolar, men erbjöd ingen ursäkt. 

Dessutom gav de oss ett meddelande om att vi var tvungna att lämna bordet kl. 16.00: 50 PM. Men de nästan 30 minuter vi tillbringade väntar på stolar och för chefen att komma ignorerades helt. 

Vi reste från centrala Chicago för att fira denna speciella dag, men personalens oförskämda beteende orsakade oss betydande stress. Om de arbetar i gästfrihet, skulle jag förvänta mig att de vet hur man korrekt betjäna och ta emot gäster. 

Jag väntar på svar tillsammans med en ursäkt.

Gammal, men ändå modern charm. De gemensamma utrymmena är varma men ändå chica. Personalen är professionell. Rumsservice gjorde ingen besviken! Det var trevligt att ha en takterrass bar/lounge. Du kan inte slå platsen för detta hotell. Be om utsikt över floden. Mark (piccolo) var fantastisk! Han kom ihåg mitt namn från 5 timmar tidigare när jag tappade mina väskor. Mycket personlig, vänlig och exceptionellt vänlig och professionell. Allen och George var stor också!

Totalt sett var hotellet trevligt. Rummen var vackert inredda, men något små. Trots detta var de mycket bekväma och väl - arrangerade. Jag blev dock något besviken av receptionens kundtjänst. Vi fick inte det varmaste välkomnandet, vilket var en besvikelse med tanke på de många hotellalternativ i Chicago. Vid ankomsten fann jag mig själv önskar att jag hade valt en annan egenskap.

Jag älskade verkligen vår vistelse! 
Rummet var fläckfritt, fantastisk utsikt, bekväm säng och så tyst. 
Läget är bra, inte alltför långt från någonstans. 
Höjdpunkten var baren, vi åt och drack där varje kväll, cocktails och vin urval var fantastiskt liksom maten och servicen.

Jag skriver den här recensionen när jag sitter i lobbybaren och försöker bestämma om jag vill ta upp detta med personalen eller helt enkelt skriva recensionen. Bestämde mig för att skriva recensionen eftersom jag fortfarande har ett par dagar kvar och jag vill inte att min fru ska vara obekväm. Hotellet är trevligt som en fyrstjärnigt men läget är vad som gör det till en femma. Jag skriver den här recensionen eftersom människor ofta är omedvetna om det partiska. Jag gick till baren för en drink och fick frågan vilket rum jag var i. Jag informerade bartendern att jag inte tog betalt på rummet men bartendern sa att de fortfarande behöver veta. Jag gav dem rumsnumret och fick min drink. Sedan satt jag och såg flera beskyddare som inte ser ut som jag få service utan att denna fråga aldrig ställdes. Jag kan säga att jag inte blev ohövligt behandlad men definitivt behandlad annorlunda och detta är bara ett exempel det finns två till som är frekvent eftersom jag bara har varit här 24 timmar med 48 kvar. Förhoppningsvis kan vi njuta av de senaste 24 .

London hus är helt underbart! 
Neil var utmärkt i att kontrollera mig och min vän i tidigt. Han var mycket uppmärksam och vänlig med oss. Jag älskade hur han skulle lyssna och checka in på oss för att se till att vi var bra. jag rekommenderar starkt detta hotell till alla som är intresserade av att besöka Chicago.

Vilket underbart hotell. Vi hade turen att hinna med slutet av julpyntet och det var fantastiskt. Checka in var en bris men lite besviken. Vi frågade om en möjlig uppgradering och fick veta att det skulle finnas en nattlig avgift, så vi passerade. Våra vänner som checkade in en timme senare erbjöds samma uppgradering, avböjde uppgraderingen, men blev ändå uppgraderade. 
Rummet var mycket trevligt men litet. Det spilldes en massa socker på fönsterbrädan men det var lätt att ta hand om. Badrummet var enorm men hade bara två uttag och ingen förvaring eller krokar att hänga saker på... ärligt talat ett mycket lätt missat tillfälle. Restaurangen på nedervåningen var utmärkt för frukost. Baren i lobbyn är en bra mötesplats med levande musik och underbara bartenders. Baren på övervåningen, nära takterrassen bar var stor. Vår bartender (kvinna med blont hår och har jobbat där ett tag) var fantastisk. Vi träffade David, Food and Beverage Manager; han var fantastisk. Vi gillade verkligen hans sällskap och hans insikter i staden. En stor liten pärla av ett hotell och ännu bättre i off - säsong när det är super prisvärt.
