After a week of eating Japanese food, it was about time to tantalize our taste buds with something closer to home. Not to mention that when you get together with expat friends, all they want to do is eat everything not Japanese, and To The Herbs delivered just that. My friend had searched the words "pizza" and "Harajuku" and this nice restaurant popped up. In true Western fashion, the interior is very large with lots of seating arrangements that make you feel like you've left the small businesses of Japan. On the menu are various Italian fare and... pancakes! Hmm, I'll take it! We ordered their "TO THE HERBS" Pizza (¥1340) which was chicken and potatoes with rosemary on top of a thin crust. I gotta say that our pizza really hit the spot for us. Drizzle a bit of honey (say what?) on the side and you're golden. If you've never had Japanese pizza before, be prepared for a thinner and sweeter crust experience. You've been warned. I'd also recommend trying their pancakes! We ordered a fluffy banana-vanilla ice cream three-layered pancake that proved to be some of the best I've had in Japan. Guess you don't need to be in a Westernized country to receive some fluffy delights. I really enjoyed the meal here and would recommend it to folks who want to try Japanese pizza without completely tackling some of their unique ingredients, and keeping true to what you have in other countries.

Not impressed, quality is very low. Pizza is not thin crust. Portions are poor and cleanliness is questionable. Wouldn't recommend or come back.
