The coffee was good, but I REALLY recommend the hotdog!! The flavor of the sausage paired with sauerkraut and crispy fresh bread is amazing. If it’s a sunny day, I highly recommend sitting under the cherry tree outside. Many lovely people (and pets) there too.

Love this place, it’s a super chill cafe in the middle of Tokyo. Outdoor and indoor seats are available but be warned there’s usually a seating limit of an hour when the cafe is busy. Their seasonal desserts are really good but I’m a big fan of their house blend coffee. If they have it in stock go for the hot dogs! Bread is crusty but soft, very good.

5mins walking from Keio Hatagaya, quite long waiting line at 10:00am, under very old large cherry tree, coffee shop is open 8 yrs but doing so good, many people come here during the days. Shop onwer came out and had some nice conversations with us at out doors sitting, friendly and relaxing here

Definitely a hidden gem in Tokyo! It is definitely a peaceful corner to enjoy coffee. They use Stumptown Portland, Oregon coffee. My favorite item was their hot dog which was basically an Italian sweet sausage with parsley. There was also a cute clothing pop-up store in the front. Everyone should go and relax.

This place was recommend by Chef Robinson from the Den, and boy are we glad we hit this spot before heading out to Hakone. This is my type of cafe, the hipster vibes, the indoor outdoor seating, vinyl selection, great coffee, and the hot dog was good. They get their beans from Stumptown Roasters. @kitcaatbar got the chai latte, which was good as well. Just fyi, if you are in a bit of a rush, do keep in the mind that the hot dog can take a bit of time to be ready (no takeout as well). I would definitely recommend this place if you get a chance to come around. Overall Kel rating: /5 The good: One of my favorite cafe I have been to in terms of the vibes. After two, very coffee-filled trips to Japan, Paddlers Coffee is my absolute favorite. They check all the boxes: -amazing cappuccino -warm and cozy indoor space -delicious pastries -great outdoor space If I lived here, this would be my local spot. I even loved their bathroom (now you know how serious I am)! It's well worth it to make the few thousand mile trip here! Or a short train ride/walk...

At first I was sad that Paddlers moved out of their more metropolitan location near coffee alley in Harajuku, but an early morning visit near their Nishihara location repelled all doubt of their decision. If you've made the trek all the way out here, you probably already knew that Paddlers prepares all their coffee from fresh-roasted Stumptown Coffee Roasters (of Portland, OR fame) beans. Unlike most other high profile cafes and roasters about town, Paddlers isn't infested with noisy tourists or the lunch crowd (i.e. housewives from high-income families that spend all their husbands' hard-earned money on 20 dollar lunches everyday while the husbands eat convenience store lunches), and blends effortlessly into the surrounding neighborhood. The interior is quiet and relaxing; the baristas are non-condescending, laid back, and very in tune with the neighborhood vibe -- the coffee will run you about 500 yen, which is way below the asking price for premium coffee in this city. A great addition to the up and coming Hatagaya neighborhood.

This coffee shot is tucked away in a residential area, but it's one of the best in Tokyo. It's quiet, and there's ample seating for you to enjoy your drink and a pastry. There's even outdoor seating on a nice day! They also have a little nook where they promote local events/artists.

This is a great small coffee shop. They have a great selection of coffee, including Portland original Stumptown coffee. And that is hard to find in these parts. So if you are from Oregon you'll really like this place. It has a great vibe. The only reason I give it three stars is because it is a small place with little seating and no Wi-Fi or outlets. But if you want a simply great cup of coffee go here!

This is an awesome little coffee shop on a quiet street. If you are near hatagaya station it is worth a quick visit. They serve stumptown coffee and it is prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is great too. Record player, great outdoor patio, etc. Very glad we stumbled across it.
