We visited as a group of eight for a weekend buffet brunch and had the chance to try most of the items on the menu. The overall food quality was quite good , with a great variety of dishes that were well-prepared and flavorful. The service was smooth, with orders arriving promptly, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The experience was well worth it, offering great value for the price.

It's been a long time since I've had such good food with these prices in Singapore. The dishes are from the buffet but each one was executed exceptionally well—definitely worth it!

I recently visited Tess Bar and Kitchen, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! While waiting for a friend, I decided to order a Negroni, and it was the perfect way to kick off the afternoon.

I love the ambiance of the restaurant and hence I found myself snapping plenty of pictures to capture the atmosphere!

I was initially drawn to Tess Bar and Kitchen for their grilled octopus pasta featured on the Valentine's menu shown on IG and I’m thrilled I chose this place. Beyond the pasta, I indulged in a delightful array of dishes that truly impressed me. The fresh oysters were absolutely divine, and paired perfectly with the drinks. The calamari rings were a highlight; they were crispy and flavorful, and the dips that accompanied them were simply out of this world—definitely a must-try!

The grilled octopus pasta was everything I hoped for and more—perfectly cooked with a rich sauce that brought all the flavors together. I also sampled the lamb rack, which was tender and mild, balancing the strong flavoured pasta. The roasted cauliflower, which deserves a special mention as a must-try dish! It was seasoned beautifully and roasted to perfection, making it a fantastic side.

Overall, Tess Bar and Kitchen exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious food, lovely drinks, and a stunning atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly recommended!

Great ambient, good place for gathering. They serve a wide range of interesting cocktail and mocktail (for non alcoholic drinker :D). Love their pan fried cauliflower and pork jawline linguine.

Went there for a birthday celebration and had their Valentine’s special.

We loved the vibes and the service. But honestly the food disappointed as a whole

The beef tataki was well cooked and salad was fresh. The octopus pasta was honestly pretty good. Love the deep seafood flavour in the sauce and rather tender octopus.

The lamb looks nice but it was overcooked, abit tough and dry. Accompaniments were alright.

Bangers and mash was not too bad, but the mash’s main flavour profile was butter. Like I get it, butter makes everything better but this was abit much.

Finally, thought we could end the night well with the cannoli but my god, we actually hated it. Really hard shell and a stupidly sour berry compote that was so hard to eat. It’s suppose to pair with the  tea ice cream (just tasted like vanilla) but it’s still too too too sour. My face just reacts when I think of it. This dessert need to be looked at again.

Cocktails were fine, nothing special.

That being said, their service was really really good. They took the feedback well and did a service recovery. I hope the main menu is better than the specials I had.
