An exciting outing with an entrance fee for kids and adults to supervise. Close to public transport BTS / MRT.  -
Beware, not all areas are suitable for all ages.
Some parts of the museum are restricted to certain ages, other areas are available to older ages.

Sure to be a hit with primary school kids into science, active play and learning through exploration.

The water park operates at specific times, Dino bones sandpit, climbing area are all subject to repair and/or weather...

A library, an interactive play town that explores various careers and jobs.  Note that not all parts of the museum are accessible by elevator - the newer building certainly is, while the older buildings only have stairs.    Wheelchair and mobility access at selected points only - please call ahead if you have concerns.

The venue is mostly Thai including the 4D short movie,  with some English spoken or available in print at other stations. Be reminded that some stations are shoes-off, please come with an appropriate shoe type to make life a bit easier while visiting.

Over all - most kids would have fun here- please plan ahead and consider time of day/weather and available activities for your child.

Was super fun for my kids! Unfortunately the big outdoor park was closed and the water sprinkles only run 3 times a day, we waited until 1.30pm so the kids could experience it.
It’s a little old but few things are interesting for kids in the museum
Most activities are for > 6 or 7 years old and mostly run during weekends
I do recommend if you have a long stay in bkk

We had a great time! There is so much to do there. We had 3 boys ages 5,4,3 with us and we only got to 3 places. 1st was the splash pad, they easily played there for an hour. We changed, had a snack and headed to dig for fossils. What could have been explained a little bit better is that they took bones off of the dinosaur in the middle and the dinosaurs pictures on the side and hid them in the sand for the kids to find. Once we understood that was the case, we had a lot of fun.

After that we went up to the third floor in that same building and built a house with the big Lego pieces. Our boys had so much fun. It look like there was another building but we didn't have enough time to get there.

Also I would say the outdoor playground is under construction and not open at the moment.

What a great place for small kids ! It puts most kids museums and centres in the UK to shame in the variety it has. I mean, the exhibits are dated and a few out of order, but the interactivity is fantastic. From dusting off dinosaur bones in role play paleontology to staring on stage in a theatre show, giant Lego, city building, soft play, playgrounds and water play... Just awesome for our 3 year old.

Brilliant. Free! Great outdoor play area, splash area, dinosaur excavation area and then a whole host of indoor activities. Some rooms for 0-3 year olds, some 3-6 and many 7-12 but they’re relaxed on ages. Highly recommended. Shouldn’t be free. Budget for 2-3 hours.
