Located within Sheraton Grand Salzburg, this restaurant was the best option after a long drive. The food was very good I must say, we opted for Austrian specialties, and we were delighted with this choice. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, there weren't many people in the restaurant, so the atmosphere was non-existent.

This is how 2 people ruin a restaurant. A cook and a waiter.

For €90 a person, with only a glass of wine, you expect to get some quality apporaching michelin level. Instead it was a huge dissapointment.
The stuff at welcoming was very friendly and helpful. The person who took the order not. I don't know what she wrote down, but after 30 minutes we had our maincourses on the table instead of the starters. Of course when they realised that, they took them back in the kitchen and after some minutes we had the salats which were decent and nice. The duck soup was not fresh and that was foul no1.

When the waitress brought the wine, she gave me a sample to taste from an almost empty bottle and then she brought another bottle to pur wine in my glass. That defeats the puprose of tasting it, as the second bottle could have been stale.

After we finished the starters, we waited around another 15-20 minutes for them  to bring the main courses from the kitchen, even if we were the only customers eating in the restaurant and they were 4 waiters working there at the time. We thought that they were cooking them again, because the dishes were already cooked 40 minutes ago, but no they were the original ones. By this time the schnitzel was soaky and the breading became like a dough and the potatoes were not fully cooked from the begining and the waiting for 40 minutes in the kitchen didn't help them much. The steak was okish but on the cold side and the sauce for it was like a chestnuts jam gone dry bad. The rice chips went hard and there was a better chance to be use as a teeth glue than food. None, the sauce or the crackers were freshly made and we didn't eat them.

The desserts were like bakery ones. Not freshly done, but microwaved and that showed on the chocolate one, where at some parts were dehydrated. Even the strawberries looked like the were cut hours ago.

The worst part about it was the spoon for the dessert, on which there was dry food on it. When we showed it to the waitress, she took it and brought a new one without even apologizing. l bet if we weren't looking at her, she would have cleaned it with a towel and give it buck to us.

The final straw was the bill. When it came, and it was obvious that the quality of the food and the service didn't much the cost, the same waitress asked me if i want to leave any money for the waiters. How rude that was, especially in a restaurant hosted by Sheraton. I kindly refused and I said, instead of money, I will give you some advices.

You shouldn't reheat food and give to your customers, you should check your cutlery before you bring them to the table, you shouldn’t use empty bottles of wine for tasting and you shouldn't ask for tips.

Overall the place needs a change of waiter and a cook attitude if they want to charge such prices

I recently dined at restaurant Mirabell with my family, and we have mixed feelings about the experience. The food was decent, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough. However, I must say that the service left much to be desired. The staff was inattentive and, one time even displayed rudeness.

We ordered steak and didn’t get a steak knife so we couldn’t eat decently and wanted to ask for the knives
We had to wave for a good five minutes while they were engaged in conversation and also busy working, and their reaction was quite impatient and irritated.  The young lady answered with JAAHAA and then commenced to tell us that she’d already seen us.
Well why didn’t she show acknowledgement so we knew she was coming?

Improved service would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Anledningen till att jag stannade igen efter mitt besök 2022 är stort minne av frukost med färgglad utsikt över trädgården och varm gästfrihet i Cecelia. Vid den här tiden. Jag hade planerat min familj resa igen till Sheraton Salsburg och Cecelia visade igen mitt val var perfekt för min matte och syster. Jag uppskattade uppriktigt igen för hennes stora hänsyn under min vistelse. Definitivt kommer jag att välja igen om jag har en chans att komma igen. Tack så mycket! ! ! ! ! ! Ronnie

Min man och jag firade nyligen vår årsdag med en 3 - dagars vistelse på Sheraton i Salzburg Österrike. Vi åt flera gånger på en av dess på plats restauranger - Restaurant Mirabell för både lunch och middag. Maten var fantastisk varje gång vi åt där och Apple Strudel var utsökt! Vi hade exceptionell service från personalen. Vår väntan - personal vid olika tidpunkter var Amelie, Johann och Michaela och de var fantastiska! De kom ihåg många av de små sakerna (som min preferens för gluten - gratis bröd och blåostsmulor på min sallad) . De såg till att varje detalj var perfekt. Och vi vill rikta ett särskilt tack till alla dessa 3 underbara individer (Amelie, Johann och Michaela) för deras första - klass service - de verkligen fick oss att känna oss som kungligheter! Detta var händer - ner den bästa kundservice vi någonsin upplevt och det gav oss nya minnen att dela och fira!

Så här förstör 2 personer en restaurang. En kock och en servitör. För € 90 en person, med bara ett glas vin, förväntar du dig att få lite kvalitet närmar michelin nivå. Istället blev det en enorm besvikelse. Sakerna på välkomnande var mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma. Personen som tog ordern inte. Jag vet inte vad hon skrev ner, men efter 30 minuter hade vi våra huvudrätter på bordet istället för förrätterna. Naturligtvis när de insåg det, tog de tillbaka dem i köket och efter några minuter hade vi sallader som var anständigt och trevligt. Anksoppan var inte färsk och det var foul nr 1 . När servitrisen kom med vinet, gav hon mig ett prov att smaka på från en nästan tom flaska och sedan tog hon med en annan flaska för att purra vin i mitt glas. Det gör att man inte kan smaka på den, eftersom den andra flaskan kunde ha varit gammal. Efter att vi ätit upp förrätterna väntade vi runt 15 - 20 minuter till på att de skulle ta med sig huvudrätterna från köket, även om vi var de enda kunderna som åt i restaurangen och de var 4 servitörer som jobbade där på den tiden. Vi trodde att de tillagade dem igen, eftersom rätterna redan var tillagade för 40 minuter sedan, men nej de var de ursprungliga. Vid det här laget var schnitzeln genomblöt och paneringen blev som en deg och potatisen var inte helt genomstekt från början och väntan på 40 minuter i köket hjälpte dem inte mycket. Biffen var ok men på den kalla sidan och såsen för det var som en kastanjesylt som blivit torr dålig. Rischipsen gick hårt och det fanns en bättre chans att användas som tandlim än mat. Ingen, såsen eller kexen var nygjorda och vi åt dem inte. Desserterna var som bageri. Inte helt nygjort, men mikrougnsvärmt och det syntes på chokladen, där det på vissa ställen var uttorkat. Även jordgubbarna såg ut som de var skurna för timmar sedan. Det värsta med det var skeden till desserten, som det fanns torrfoder på. När vi visade den för servitrisen tog hon den och tog med en ny utan att ens be om ursäkt. Jag slår vad om att om vi inte tittade på henne, skulle hon ha rengjort den med en handduk och gett den till oss. Slutresultatet blev räkningen. När det kom, och det var uppenbart att kvaliteten på maten och servicen inte mycket kostnaden, frågade samma servitris mig om jag vill lämna några pengar till servitörerna. Så oförskämt det var, särskilt i en restaurang värd Sheraton. Jag vägrade vänligt och jag sa, i stället för pengar, ska jag ge dig några råd. Man ska inte värma upp mat och ge till sina kunder, man ska kontrollera sina bestick innan man tar med dem till bordet, man ska inte använda tomma vinflaskor för provsmakning och man ska inte be om tips. Vi reserverade ett bord för middag här men slutligen beslutade när vi satt att gå någon annanstans på grund av de omotiverat höga priserna. Vi började med att titta på vinlistan. Som branschfolk vet vi vad viner ska kosta på en restaurang. Vi är bekväma med en 3 x pålägg. Vi letar då efter ett benchmarkvin som Veuve Clicquot som bör kosta ca $ 110. Deras pris var 140 dollar, så nästan 5 x påslaget. Vi hittade samma pålägg på resten av deras lista. Denna bedömning fick oss att titta på livsmedelspriserna genom samma lins. På liknande sätt, deras förrätt priser vi betydligt högre än någon annanstans vi har ätit i Salzburg. Och efter så många andra fantastiska måltider i Salzburg fanns det inget sätt för oss att rättfärdiga en orimligt prissatt måltid här, oavsett hur bra maten må ha varit.

Vi hade en 8 pm reservation på en måndag, restaurangen var tom. Personalen hälsade på oss efter att vi tittat runt och försökt hitta den eftersom vi inte kunde tro att den var så tom, vi måste ha gått till fel ställe. Lämnade lite bröd och kryddor på bordet när vi bläddrade i menyn. Matpriserna var ganska höga, särskilt för de mycket begränsade erbjudandena... men vinet var minst en 5 x mark upp. En flaska som vanligtvis finns på menyer över hela Europa och i USA var ca 40 - 50 euro högre än andra ställen. Vi bestämde oss för att inte äta där. På grund av bristen på människor och prissättning. Vi var inte säkra på hur färsk maten skulle vara. Personalen var mycket vänlig!

Restaurangstället är inte korrekt beskrivet. Restaurangen Mirabell ligger inne på Sheraton hotel och erbjuder inte det utbud av mat som anges i menyn. Soppan var inget speciellt och grönsakslasagnen kokades inte tillräckligt. Bin tartar var bra . Personalen var så snäll att ta med bröd och smör mer än en gång.

Vi har haft vår måltid här och var tacksamma för att kunna göra en bokning i förväg för vår stora grupp via The Fork hemsida så att vårt bord väntade på oss. Maten var mycket bra, och servicen var helt utmärkt. Traditionella rätter som wienerschnitzel och oxtailsoppa. En 10 till 12 minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen.

Min fru och jag hittade denna restaurang i Michelin Guide, en utmärkt källa till bra restauranger. Vi promenerade dit på en mörk natt i oktober och hade problem med att hitta restaurangen. Ser ett stort hotell i området (Sheraton Grand Salzburg) jag promenerade i bad om lite hjälp att hitta restaurangen. Personen vid skrivbordet sade, "Inget problem" och gestaltat till ett tecken i lobbyn, "Här är det." När vi kom över vår förvåning gick vi in ​​i restaurangen och satt snabbt (vi hade en reservation). Min fru började ursprungligen av d-koden (det påminde henne om en kafé) men vi tittade på menyn och hittade saker att beställa. I själva verket hade vi utmärkta måltider. Restaurangen hade en omfattande vinlista och serverade utmärkta viner genom glaset. Jag hade alltid velat smaka en Beerenauslese och servitören rekommenderade det. Så jag beställde ett glas. Det var österrikiska och utmärkta. Jag tittade upp den senare på kvällen och fann att den hade 95/100 poäng på välrenommerade webbplatser. Så god mat, gott vin, bra bröd. Vad finns det att inte gilla? Så var vi på en lördag kväll en av endast två eller tre par middagar på denna restaurang? Restaurangen var inte billig men det var inte skandalöst dyrt (våra två måltider, viner och desserter kostade 90 euro). Servitören var ganska vänlig och vi diskuterade hur konstigt det var att restaurangen var så tom. Tydligen sätts många människor av med möjligheten att äta middag på en restaurang på ett hotell. Som ett resultat är sådana restauranger beroende av de personer som bor på hotellet för att fylla sina bord på middag. Men när fler och fler unga människor reser är de antingen mindre intresserade av fina restauranger eller väljer att spendera sina pengar till gåvor, souvenirer osv. Servitören sa att restaurangchefen fortsatte att experimentera med sätt att föra folk till restaurangen och restaurangen fylls till frukost men middagar kan vara problematiska. Min fru och jag blev förvånade över att hitta restaurang Mirabell på ett hotell men håller med Michelins urval. Som jag bodde på detta hotell, beslutade jag att äta middag på en av nätterna, och blev inte besviken. Inte en mycket omfattande meny, jag hade förväntat mig några fler rätter att välja bland, men det var tillräckligt. Tjänsten var utmärkt, maten var trevlig, jag kommer tillbaka!
