Although I was sad to see Åens Øl close, my interest was piqued when an Italian beer bar was said to move in. At their inaugural reception I was happy that they had redone the floors to make the place look much brighter and slightly sectioned off three areas in case a group wanted a little more room or quiet. During that day they offered every second beer free as well as free samples of their snack menu, so I had the pleasure of trying a little bit of everything. On another occasion I arrived a little earlier than my friends and one of the bartenders, Lucca, was so kind as to chat with me while I waited so that I wouldn't have to sit alone long. He was friendly and remembered my name for the rest of the evening. Many bars in Denmark lack decent food offerings and I'm glad to say that is not the case here. They have cheese and charcuterie plates, as well as paninis and olives. The prices are decent, in line with most bars in town. Only Italian beers are served; they taste safe, not at all adventurous, so it's good for beer-drinkers of all kinds. And a bonus, they mostly play Italian music. You can have a great time here!

Italy and good beer?! Why not. Since they opened, I wanted to stop by. Finally I made it there after enjoying a nice lunch out- but sadly the place I went to didn't serve beer. Il Locale- to the rescue! They helped me with digesting my burger. I ordered a Pale Ale. It was around 14:00 so nobody was there! It was so cosy. Finally, a nice time to talk about beer (and the wine that my wife ordered). Speaking of wine... this place has a lot of events. One of them is comparing wine and beer. Very interesting and I hope I will join soon. Can't wait. I didn't try the food yet, but no worries, I will be back and I will write you a report about that. Take care and have a Yelpy day!

First visit, a few days after the place opened. A quiet beer on a Wednesday evening, I was the only guest when I arrived, but the bar had two bartenders, and one guy just hanging out. Beer first: 12 beers on tap, only from Italian breweries: currently from Hibu Craft Brewery and Birrifico Italiano. It seems like more of an easy-to-drink selection than, say, what Himmeriget on the opposite side of the street could have to offer. Nothing that'll offend most. Kudos for sticking only to Italian beer, though! The place is nice, better interior than what Åens Øl, which was here before, had to offer. Two moka expresses are brewing away on a small plate, chatter in Italian and gestures between the bartenders and the guy hanging out. Nice! Decor is authentic, I guess? They serve sandwiches too, and I was just served free snacks, which included great olives. A good Wednesday. What's keeping the fifth star away? Music. Irish bar music, and currently Ramones. Mostly just annoying. Why not keep the Italian theme with that, or turn it off altogether? EDIT, 20 minutes after writing review: and now they started playing Italian music. It's not particularly nice music (Rock n' Roll Robot by Alberto Camerini), but the requirement was fulfilled. So changing four to five stars. I'll return, go through their catalogue. I'll head somewhere else to drink stuff that I'm sure will offend me in a good way. A+, Will Visit Again.

If you`re looking for a calm and cozy spot to catch up with some friends while tasting some Italian beers - this is THE spot of Copenhagen. A great place to run away from a loud and drunk crowd, excellent for adults that can appreciate the quality of service and drinks. I`ve been there quite a few times and it has been a pleasure every single time. The guys working there know their business and for every beer they serve, they have a story to tell you - great, if you want to learn something new. The only thing this place lacks is MORE PEOPLE to go and visit them, so this cozy bar can be filled with energy and voices of people. I understand it`s not in the very center and not many other places are nearby, but if you don`t mind a short walk or buss ride and look for a very cozy spot to have a couple of drinks at any time of the week - gooooo and give it a try!

Italian craft beer is something that is not familiar for many people. Many people know Italy for their wine and other liquors, but definitely not beer. Although the choices somewhat limited to Hibu Brewery and Birrifico Italiano, this place is interesting enough if you're in the area. After all, with so many beer bars in town, you need to have a niche to be able to survive. Service is super friendly and nice - and the location is airy and bright. It's probably not perfect for a date night, but it's great to meet up with your friends over beer, and since they have cheese and charcuterie snack, you really don't have any other excuse not to try out this bar. Beer-wise, the selection is very interesting. I got MOOD from Hibu Brewery, a nice porter although I'm afraid I couldn't say further than "nice" since I've tasted much better one, but still it's the experience that counts, and being to be able to sip Italian craft beer in Copenhagen is another thing. As I said, if you're around this area, this place is worth a visit.

Very nice beer and they change often so it never gets boring. The buffet on sundays is nice if you just wanna nibble on something and eat huge amounts of carbs as most things is on bread or, as expected, pasta dishes, which tastes good though.
