Found this place close to the Pantheon. Few choices but they are very good. The suckling pig, the beef bourguignon and the beef goulash were amazing. Very tasty.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in Paris as someone who lives here. For me, this place offers an incredible menu that is not only interesting but is most often full of classic French meals that most restaurants in France do not take the time to honor or serve. I had the cochon de lait here this evening and it was easily some of the best pork I’ve ever had in my life. The crisp of the skin was magnificent and I honestly don’t even understand how they were able to make it that way. I would recommend this place to anyone I know who is visiting Paris or lives here. The woman who was serving our meals was so friendly and thoughtful and while we spoke to her in French, she also speaks perfect English. I absolutely adore this place and will come back again and again as long as I live in Paris.

This is a cute new spot in the 5e, tucked on corner of a street. I walked in because it felt welcoming from the outside. I walked in at 19:00 on a Friday, early for Frenchies 🥖😂. I could tell I caught the lady owner of the place off guard 🤤, poor lady.

Anyhow, I sat down at a corner table next to the kitchen, being serenaded by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

The lady was quite candid that she bought the place a few months ago and opened about a month ago. Come support her!

Around 20:00, the Frenchies started coming, both a family and a group of young guys "du métier"...from the trade. I could overhear the conversation from the family explaining the history of the place: it has a vibe to it.

I had the Oeuf Mayo, with the eggs cooked to perfection (slightly slightly moist in the inside, with home made mayo).

I followed it up with the faux filet steak, cooked medium rare to perfection. The meat, all French 🍖, tastes really good. Coming from the states, I appreciated the style of the fries 🍟😂 (if you know, you know... Frenchies...🙄).

I appreciated the crunchy, thick carrots 🥕 in the salad, and the tangy, mustardy feeling of the dressing.

One of those little gems you find walking in Paris. Such a wonderful little place. The food was amazing... really some of the best I've had on my trips to Paris. On top of delicious food the service is excellent, kind and personal. You would feel totally at home. A bit of french or translation app might be needed but it's worth the hassle. Wonderful, wonderful place! Highly recommended. Moreover you can see the Pantheon while sipping your wine or coffee. Perfect place to see the world pass by.
