Michelin recommended spot which is still up and coming.  The staff are phenomenal, and their team is what puts them ahead.

Tasting menu is choose your own adventure.

Many of the dishes lack a bit of dimensionality.  The beef tartar, for example, is paired with mayo and is lacking some potent flavors to grab tasting buds.  The squid risotto is extra earthy.  They can build out the flavor profile of both dishes.  The only technical issue was the popcorn in the dessert was not fresh.. it was soft.

Their wine menu is extensive and their somm helpful. The by the glass options are not high quality/hi value, and you will need to choose a bottle if you want good wine. The exception is the desert offerings.

All in, not bad value.  Will come back in a few years to see how things have progressed.

The restaurant gives a nice vibe. We had the 6 courses meal which were fantastic. Great venue for a special treat. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Seeing us waiting outside for a taxi for few minutes, the waiter offered to help book a taxi and invited us to wait inside. Thank you!

Incredible dining experience in romantic Firenze!

We somehow managed to sneak in for a last minute reservation and will never forget the experience.

The intimate ambiance and service oriented team enhanced the vivacious food offerings that delight from beginning to end.

NO wonder varför denna plats är så högt värderat ! Det här är bara en av de mest fantastiska rymningarna i Firenze! Underbart kök, inspirerat av kocken som blandar de Italienska rötterna till sin egen upplevelse! Vi kom för 10 år sedan och absolut ville komma igen, och detta var ännu bättre! Maten är ikonisk, vinval var bara en unik upplevelse ... faktiskt kan NO words beskriva ... du kan prova IT själv ! Stora applåder och tack! Vilken pärla till restaurang. Vi bokade detta för en natt men slutade boka igen innan vi lämnade Florens. Maten är utmärkt. Servicen är lysande. Vi hade 4 rätters avsmakningsmeny. Vi valde olika objekt varje besök och alla var lysande. Om du vill ha god mat när du är i Florens som ger dig lite variation bort från de normala italienska pasta och pizzarätter sedan gå hit.

Allt om denna matupplevelse var förstklassig. Servicen var oklanderlig, maten var utmärkt. Totalt sett bara en riktigt trevlig kväll. Platsen precis utanför det huvudsakliga turistområdet är bra att komma bort från folkmassorna men ändå vara nära. Och för € 60 för att få den kvaliteten på en femrätters måltid är nästan otroligt. Härlig och kunnig service, kreativ matlagning, utmärkta viner och mycket valuta för pengarna. Ett riktigt fynd i Florens. Varje rätt var intressant och vackert presenterad. Osannolika kombinationer fungerade alla, till exempel den något bisarra klingande salta japanska gräddkolan som förrätt. En triumf. Ett uppfriskande alternativ till vanliga Firenze-trattorior. Toppen!

Vi åt middag igår kväll och det var inte bara en av våra bästa måltider i 2 . 5 veckor har vi varit i Toscana, det var en av de bästa måltiderna vi någonsin haft. Vi anlände några minuter innan öppnandet på 1930 och möttes av Matteo Fantini, ägare. Efter att ha satt oss tittade vi över mat- och vinmenyer, valde ett glas av det så kallade orangea vinet (ett torrt nära - vitt) till min fru och ett glas Cabernet Franc (ett elegant, tätt, torrt rött) till mig. Gästerna har möjlighet att välja sina egna rätter a la carte, eller individuella avsmakningsmenyer med fyra, fem eller sex portioner (den sista för alla är dessert). Vi bestämde oss för att prova något vi aldrig gjort förut - en avsmakningsmeny med alla rätter som valts av kocken. Mr Fantini såg till att vi inte hade några matallergier och frågade också om vilka typer av livsmedel vi gillade i allmänhet eller de vi kanske inte bryr oss om. Vi sa att vi gillar i stort sett allt, så vi gick. Den inledande amuse bouche var en liten portion [finmosad] ärtsorbet med finhackade italienska gröna bönor, en mycket liten mängd färsk mynta och olivolja. Det var förtjusande. Vår server (s) förklarade ingredienserna i varje rätt som den presenterades. Vår första rätt var en nötköttstartar med amarantpopcorn, porcinisvamppulver och söt vitlöksmajonnäs. Detta var också utsökt, även om människor vana vid en finhackad eller mald tandsten kan tycka att den något grövre kotletten... är annorlunda. Jag älskade allt. Den andra rätten var vad jag oprecist kommer att kalla pasta rullar (ca 3 / 4 ”bred pasta, formad i ungefär en tum rullar). Den kom med en extraktion av körsbärstomater, rökt smör, kapris, oregano, basilika och olivolja. Mina förväntningar var blygsamma, men såsen och den perfekta al dente pastan var superb. Nästa rätt var två gånger - kokt polpo (bläckfisk) . Min fru älskar god bläckfisk (vilket ofta är vad hon säger inte serveras) och jag beställer det aldrig. Men vi sätter oss på kockens gottfinnande. Vår förklarade någonsin att det var två gånger - kokt: först kokat i vitt vin, och sedan brynt. Den var klädd med en grädde av majssås. Polpon var den möraste, och mest smakrika, jag någonsin haft. Min fru yrade över det också. Till efterrätt beställde vi de två glassarna: Rosmarin med olivolja, kaprismaräng och citrongelé. Den andra var Salted Popcorn, med kola, rökt tesmulor och en mörk chokladganache. Rosmarinen var inte för någon av oss, hur kreativ den än är. Men Salted Popcorn var utsökt - bevis på att en fantastisk dessert inte behöver, måste vara storleken på en catcher’s handske. Vi hade en fantastisk kväll med kreativ, utsökt mat till rimliga priser, bra service och en välkomnande, mysig miljö. Jag rekommenderar starkt Osteria Personale.

Min vän och jag bokade en middag avsmakningsmeny ( 6 rätter) efter att ha upptäckt den här restaurangen via TripAdvisor. Vi gillade prispunkten och att välja - din - egen kurs var kost begränsning vänlig. Vi älskade maten i sig, atmosfären och servicen (ännu mer än de finare middagar vi gick till följande kväll. ) En höjdpunkt var hur de föredrar att alla vid samma bord beställer samma för varje rätt på avsmakningsmenyn, men de gjorde ett undantag för en av rätterna på grund av min peskatarianism. Och smakmässigt älskade jag unikheten och balansen i risdesserten som innehöll både persikor och lavendel. Sammantaget älskade jag hur denna restaurang fokuserade på smak och matupplevelse av varje rätt, medan de kulinariska och främre - av - hus team båda visade djup, internationell restaurangbranschen erfarenhet med rötter i italiensk kurs progression tradition. Det var också lätt att komma till från den historiska stadskärnan i Florens. Vi gick ca 15 minuter från vårt hotell precis vid centralstationen.

Maten är exceptionell och servicen är vänlig och kunnig. Om du besöker en restaurang i Florens, gör det till den här. Smart, närproducerat, fräscht och gott till ett rimligt pris. Vad mer kan man begära?

Vi ville ha en lättare middag och restaurangen rymde detta mycket bra! Ägare och personal var mycket vänliga och maten var utsökt. Ett måste besöka i Florens!

Restaurangen är ganska vanlig, men när du väl är inne är välkommen mycket varm, lysande vänta personal, uppmärksam och vänlig men inte påträngande. Maten var första klass. Vi har en 5-rätters smakmeny, ett glas vitt och en flaska eller röd. Det var en särskild tillfällig måltid, och vi tyckte att 149 euro var helt rimliga för vad som var en höjdpunkt i vår resa till Florens och vi hade mycket mycket god mat (och konst)! Min man sa att det var den bästa stekartaren han någonsin har ätit. Jag hade inte haft det förut och det var utsökt.

Vi letade efter en lugn plats att fira en mors dag / födelsedagskombination, och detta överträffade förväntningarna. Vi hade en 4-rätters middag med vinparning, och maten var verkligen rolig och mycket tankeväckande. Vinparringen var väldigt bra, och jag är nu bara upprörd över att jag inte kan få rött vin Fiori Blu här i Kanada. Bra gjort!

Så glad vi bokade hotellet på den sista natten av vår vistelse i Florens. Vi har ätit på några bra restauranger globalt men det här är uppe med det bästa, verkligen. Maten var fantastisk i en härlig atmosfär. Stort värde. Högt rekommenderad.

Underbar restaurang och bra service. Vi har haft varje minut trots att många av oss kom upp så snart det öppnades. Ett gratis glas Prosecco gavs som det var så upptagen, vilket var en härlig touch. Bläckfisk starter var mjuk och härlig och guineafowl var fantastisk. Vinet vid glaset var också fantastiskt, särskilt Chardonnay som de har gjort mig mycket glad.

Detta var en höjdpunkt i Florens. Verkligt. Underbar service, otroliga rätter - om du är i Florens och letar efter en trevlig måltid, är det här platsen. Absolut missa inte det.
