The food was ok, but I think the sauce is a little different. But I haven’t tasted it in some years, so it could be my taste that’s different, I used to like it better.
The French fries some of them weren’t cooked properly.

Be very careful, they charge very high prices and serve very small quantities. From the moment you enter the restaurant to dessert they try to steal the customer as much as possible. They take products that are not on the menu without a price so that they can deceive the customer. It all starts with a smile and a good conversation... The wine list is huge and the prices are exaggerated. Becareful

Delicious food. Excellent service. Comfortable seating. Vegetarian options available include vegetable pie and vegetarian rice. This place is known for suckling pig but other dishes are also delicious.

We had left Bussaco Palace due to the incredibly poor service and only mediocre food there, and went looking for a good meal. We found Rei dos Leitoes nearby.  Absolutely fabulous!  Anyone staying at the Palace should do themselves a favor and take a short drive, and enjoy their fantastic food and atmosphere.
