This is one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. Orygyns is a quirky, fun and warm place, you feel like you want to order coffee and other things.
The staff was really lovely and friendly. She laughed at all my jokes, I explained to her that I'm not a coffee person so she explained the different types of coffee that were available.
I ordered a flat white and a cookie. They were both divine.

Definitely a nice discovery. The coffee comes from roasters from different European countries confirmed by the tags on the wall. Had the chance to taste one from Amsterdam. So delicious.😋 a must try if you’re in Bucharest. Very good service. Will come back soon for the peanut cake as well.😊

Cozy place with a rotating selection of specialty coffee. I tried the double espresso made with beans from the ‘Keen’ roaster and it was one of the best espressos I’ve had in Bucharest.

Update - summer 2024:
Got a small takeout cappuccino (15 Ron / 3€) - wonderful taste! Big like! 👍🏻

But this time I've actually spotted a problem, a blue one:
The blue color paint from the cups is going to smear on your hands and maybe lips/face if you hold it and drink. (check last image for visual detail)
Not a down vote, but maybe you can take a look and replace those takeaway cups somehow?
If you get a takeaway, try and rub the cup on your palm -  the color will fall off on your skin.

This is a nice hidden gem 💎

I had a large cappuccino (330ml at 16,00 RON, small one is 250ml at 12,00 RON), without sugar and it was one of the best I've ever had.

The prices are a bit over the average, but it's justified. The beverages are good!

The delicious smell of coffee welcomes you once you come in. And what a beautiful place it is. Books, memorabilia, travel memories complete the decor. The barista was great and the coffee & hot chocolate were delicious. Will definitely come back!
