My wife and I had a fantastic getaway here, it was our first trip with our newborn, and the experience couldn’t have been better. The staff, especially Tonya, Pamela, and Jose, were wonderful, and the spa, food/wine, and rooms all exceeded our expectations. If you're visiting Valencia or exploring the Matarraña / Spanish Tuscany region, this is the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommend!

Our stay was truly wonderful, and the room we were offered was easily one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location couldn’t be more perfect—it’s a real standout feature.

The only area that could use some improvement is the dining experience. While the food wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the price point. To help enhance this aspect, I’d like to offer some feedback:

1. A more personal touch from the servers would go a long way. Building a connection with guests, communicating warmly, and offering helpful, attentive service can truly elevate the dining experience. Unfortunately, it sometimes felt like the staff were in a rush to move us along, which might reflect a need for additional training or education rather than any individual fault.

2- also the menu items including num of meals, paired wines and overall experience could be much better.

That said, everything else about our stay was exceptional, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place. Thank you for a memorable visit!

I really liked the hotel, never felt this relaxed before. The environment and the surroundings of being in the middle of nowhere, made it such an amazing weekend to disconnect from society.

The rooms are amazing and comfortable, the breakfast really good, magnificent spa that you have for yourself, and the staff top notch.

We stayed at this hotel recently, and while the location is beautiful and the front desk staff were friendly, the experience was underwhelming.

Since it was off-season, the hotel felt poorly maintained. The water feature was dirty and looked sad, the outdoor furniture lacked cushions, and many of the lights were off, giving the place a gloomy vibe.

The biggest letdown, however, was the restaurant. The food was awful—cold, poorly presented, and tasted like leftovers. The wait staff was unprofessional, and the wine pairing was a joke. It honestly didn’t feel like there was even a chef.

Overall, the hotel didn’t feel like a luxury hospitality experience. It’s more like a business that’s lost its way. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Everything you need for a truly relaxing and hedonist vacation is here: tranquility and isolation from the world, in a beautifully restored old building set within manicured grounds, with a clean and good size pool and nestled within hectares of forest that provide great hiking experiences and breathtaking views. In addition, the restaurant on site offers very high quality meals (breakfast, lunch, dinar, snacks), there’s a bar service that extends to the garden outside and the property also has its own winery. Finally, the Matarraña area is still not very touristy so you can visit charming villages and enjoy unspoiled landscapes. The only improvement point is the service, a five star hotel should consistently offer top notch service by all the staff and not depend on the best trained or most motivated few.
