It occurred to me that we have been selfishly keeping this place to ourselves and not done a review! We have been coming here at least once a month since we were introduced to it from a fellow restauranteur over a year ago .  This is a FOODIE gem!  You’ll find chefs from all over spending their day off to eat here.  With very good reason.  This family owned restaurant is serving food that chefs really want to eat.  Top notch quality meats- Jose is a serious connoisseur and what he doesn’t know about breeds and aging and quality ain’t worth knowing.  Trust him when he recommends a chuletón- you’ll never be disappointed! Then let’s talk about Esther, his beautiful wife who is cooking behind the scenes for you.  Her starters are beyond incredible! It’s all homemade- you can taste the love in her cooking.  When we come here we come hungry.  We don’t eat breakfast… we want ALL the goodies that Esther makes and then we enjoy the epic meats cooked by Jose! Save a teensy bit of room for the puds, share 1 of each - they’re worth it and wash it all down with a beautiful bottle of wine or two from their cleverly selected wine list.  Come here if food and serious eats are your passion- you’ll be so glad you did ! When we have our chef friends visiting from London…. This is the place we take them ♥️
